Georgetown Thai "Gourmet"

Decided to try it out as just opened up in south and Took 1 hour and 20 mins to pick up after saying would be ready in 40 mins. $75 for 2 noodles dishes and a salad. Food came out late so was rushed and not cooked all the way veggies weren’t hard and sauce leaked in bag and no one cared. I Won’t Go back again and stick to other place I usually go

Food was great but portions were super small. Pad Thai was the best portion because it’s noodles! The peanut chicken and beef garlic weren’t even enough for one person! We spent $90 for 3 dishes. Definitely not as good as it once was.

I loved their food, especially the noodle dishes such as pad Thai, drunken noodles, and pad see ew. The curries were so creamy, and there were so many options to choose from—red curry, green curry, yellow curry, peanut curry, and Khao Soi.

Didn't get a chance to order as they don't pick up the phone nor let me order online. Sometimes if an establishment doesn't want your business, you gotta take it elsewhere.

When are you going to open?!

We always do delivery for this place and it never fails us. Food is great and portions are generous.

Georgetown Thai used to be the best Thai around. Since new ownership the quality and quantity of food has really gone downhill. We’ve ordered a few times and the quantity of food was way less, and the flavour is just not the same. I’m wondering if they’ve changed ingredients or just the quality of ingredients. Either way, it’s disappointing. The prices keep going up as well. So now you are paying more for less food.

Edit: ownership changed a few years back and it just hasn’t been the same since.

I've been to this restaurant many times, and it never disappoints! The food is consistently phenomenal. The GT Pad Thai is honestly one of the best I've ever had. Another favourite is the Coconut Milk Soup. It's also wonderful that they offer fully gluten-free options, making it a great choice for those with celiac disease. I'm sad to see the current location closing, but I'm very excited for the new location to open. Can't wait to continue enjoying their amazing dishes!

Amazing staff, great ambiance and delicious food. Perfect place if you are craving Thai food.
