Georgetown Thai used to be the best Thai around. Since new ownership the quality and quantity of food has really gone downhill. We’ve ordered a few times and the quantity of food was way less, and the flavour is just not the same. I’m wondering if they’ve changed ingredients or just the quality of ingredients. Either way, it’s disappointing. The prices keep going up as well. So now you are paying more for less food.
Edit: ownership changed a few years back and it just hasn’t been the same since.

I've been to this restaurant many times, and it never disappoints! The food is consistently phenomenal. The GT Pad Thai is honestly one of the best I've ever had. Another favourite is the Coconut Milk Soup. It's also wonderful that they offer fully gluten-free options, making it a great choice for those with celiac disease. I'm sad to see the current location closing, but I'm very excited for the new location to open. Can't wait to continue enjoying their amazing dishes!

Unfortunately under this new management, this place has gone downhill and we won't be returning

Soups and starters were good. Red curry was a bit thick but flavour was very good. Pad Thai and basil fried rice were very good too. Coco Fried ice cream was big and ok. Overall I would go back here. Very good restaurant.Cons:1. Spice level was low, spicy was low spice2. Plates served were small and hard to have shareable3. Expensive

We mostly do take out but dined in 2 weeks ago.Yellow curry is their stand out dish. Hands down best curry I've ever had.Pad thai is just okay but I mix it with the yellow curry. Wouldnt order it on it's own. One time I mistakenly ordered my pad thai incorrectly and despite it being my mistake they did fix it for me which was very nice.I have a suggestion - I often order the yellow curry and pad this then mix the two together. Maybe creating a dish like this because I know is sounds strange but it is SO good. A Yellow curry pad thai. Try it!Feed back would just be consistency in the dishes. Sometimes the curry will have more/less peppers etc and the amount you get varies sometimes. I love the size of the shrimps in the pad thai but maybe a little more protein in general would make it even better. Regardless, I still love it!We will forever be regulars at this place. Thanks for all the delicious food!

Highly recommend Georgetown Thai! Fresh, fragrant authentic Thai food. Our server Rose was amazing. Our group shared a number of dishes and every one was delicious. This might be our new celebration destination!
The food is nice but it is on the pricey side. Some dishes like the curries should include the rice and not charge you extra for a tiny portion!

Haven't done an updated review for Gtown Thai..
It has always been a 5*
People must have complained about portion sizes. (Bigger now).
Seafood
Yellow Thai curry with coconut rice is the best in the world.
Seriously.
Bold statement, but true. IMO,
Calamari to die for, same as the homemade spring rolls.
