It’s great having such a gem right in my home town. The food is always so fresh and beautifully presented and the friendly service tops the whole experience off. A charming decor, comfortable and I always feel like I’m truest treating my family.

Amazing…. That’s the only word that I could think of? I had so many sushi and this is absolutely different spectrum… the fresh ingredient and size are so proportionate, its so outstanding ! The handmade traditional wrappings just to die for!! for those who appreciate machine rice , you should definitely try this…

For Georgetown, this is one of the better Japanese food restaurants in the area. If you are not into the sauces or particular ingredients, they will accommodate accordingly. Take out STRONGLY recommended. We recently decided to dine in (as my friend and I were both vaccinated and away from home) and it took OVER AN HOUR to get our food due to the line up of delivery/takeout pickups. Too bad. Could be that they are short staffed as the waitress was forever busy walking to and from the kitchen trying to accommodate everyone and we only saw one chef in the kitchen. This aside, the food, when it finally arrived, was very good - fresh ingredients, excellent rice, made to order.

My wife and I just picked up an order of rolls and udon soup. Absolutely delicious. We crushed it way too fast. My wife tells me it’s the best spicy tuna roll she’s ever had.

We've ordered a variety of items from this restaurant over the last year and the quality of each dish is always excellent. Delicious and authentic, I always enjoy the chef special rolls. Great service as well. Definitely recommend!

I remember one of Canada's most highly respected sushi chefs telling me that he could teach a monkey to cut fish but that the secret to the best sushi is in the rice. One of the essential ingredients in Japanese rice is vinegar. It sets up the flavour of the fish like a nice ring sets up a diamond to look its best. A bit of vinegar also keeps the rice from packing together like poorly done fudge. The rice is also what separates Japanese sushi from Chinese or Korean sushi, IMO. So we had a sushi lunch today with $89 worth of big slabs of fish atop thick inedible slabs of gummy rice that had no flavour. The salad consisted of a chunk of iceberg lettuce and a slice of tomato. The edamame was ok. The salmon sashimi was at least 1cm thick and fresh. Somebody go in there please and teach them how to make rice.

We ordered the Sushi tray 32 piece and was pretty disappointed. Taste was bland, not fresh. We love Sushi and I would not recommend this place other than service was good.
