My favourite restaurant in Georgetown. Their portions are huge - a single meat and rice combo is enough for two people for at least one meal. All the dishes I’ve tried have been delicious. I especially want to highlight the butter chicken, they use pre seasoned (tandoori?) chicken so it’s super flavourful

I tried this place sometime at the end of 2025 and I must say, I was so disappointed. (Take out)

I wasn't expecting anything extravagant but I had ordered some chicken and rice and it was so bland it physically made me sad.
How can food be so tasteless? Chicken alone has a taste. I thought I had Covid or something but then had a sip of pop to confirm my taste buds still were functioning.

The people there I am sure are lovely and are doing their best.
I really am honestly baffled to this day that it lacked so much and seasoning, even salt didn't really help. I've never felt so sad eating a meal in all my life. The best part of the meal was the beverage.

I don't know how this happened, but godspeed. <3

VERY disappointing. I’m not ‘a foodie’ thus I don’t have high expectations.. SLOP / MUSHY both dishes. This was the worst take out food I’ve ever experienced and I am on the wrong side of 50 years old 😂. The rice was, way, way very overdone…. and so were the vegetables 😞 Kung pao chicken and the Szechuan beef…..very little difference in the taste of the two dishes 🤔. How is this even possible??? I’m not sure how the chicken was prepared…very unusual texture 😶 (I’m from UK where we overcook almost everything 🤪 - but the broccoli, mushrooms and baby corn and rice were soggy.). I tried….i really did…but most of it now in the garbage. Context - I’ve only posted about a dozen google business reviews…almost half are positive…but I felt I had to post this 😞

Unfortunately, this was the worst Hakka food I’ve ever had. Everything was overcooked, sloppy, and completely lacking flavour. The dishes felt rushed and poorly prepared, and nothing tasted fresh or balanced. For the price, this was a huge disappointment and a waste of money. I was genuinely looking forward to good Hakka cuisine, but this missed the mark in every way. I won’t be returning. Not sure how they maintain their current rating….

Very disappointed with our experience. The quality of the food was extremely poor. The rice was overcooked and mushy, and the noodles completely lacked flavour. The sweet and sour Manchurian shrimp were badly overcooked and tough. The momos were especially unpleasant — they tasted old, like they had been sitting out for a while. My husband ordered a chicken dish and was equally dissatisfied with both the taste and quality.

On top of that, we were told to come back in 15 minutes, only to end up waiting another 25 minutes just sitting there before receiving our food. The wait was frustrating and poorly communicated.

Overall, the meal was not satisfying at all, and the experience left a bad impression. I will not be returning.

Their food is horrible. I got their chilli chicken gravy and the chicken was extremely crispy/hard and not edible. I had to throw the entire food. What a waste of money. I would never go back to this place.

The atmosphere was alright, service was great. I ordered a lunch special for 11.99
The soup was good but the garlic veggies and rice was missing something.
I didn't have enough flavor.
But for the price it wasn't that disappointing.

Yum! so delish! Like a cross between Chinese and Indian. And if you like spicy you’ll love this food! The spicy paneer appi was our fave. Tandoori fried rice wow! Chicken wontons were great except we didn’t dig the sauce they came with. Butter chicken was very different than a traditional butter chicken but so good! The rice it came with was mushy though and inedible. Strange for a place like this to not be able to steam plain rice. But ignoring that as everything else was so good!

The food and staff are great! It's best for takeout, though-I wouldn't recommend dining in, as the space is small and the interior could use some updates. The momos aren't the best I've had, but everything else is excellent.
