We came in initially looking for a slice but ended up getting a pie instead. We were quite indecisive, and the staff were extremely helpful, and we decided to go half and half (Joe and Sam, hot hog). It took about 20 minutes for the fresh pie, and we loved the pizza so much! Only slight knock: the pricing is steep compared to other pizza places in Toronto; however, the pizza was great. Also, they have a wide variety of specialty drinks, and the dips were also good. We will be returning whenever we're back in the area overall an amazing pizza joint.

I ordered some vhs tapes via the sadboy website & I could not be more stoked. Mike was absolutely awesome, we received a hella sick stack of tapes that were meticulously wrapped and packed up with care. He shipped them out to us in edmonton for a super reasonable price. I'm a fan. Thank you so much!
Came for the vhs tapes, stayed for the pizza.

Pizza was great, couldn’t make up my mind so they staff did a 50/50 of two totally different pizzas for me, both tasted amazing, fresh toppings and the crust was perfect.
Restaurant has a great classic shop aesthetic and the staff were very nice. Overall great time. Worth the hour drive, definitely coming back.

Had the cheese pizza, the price was good for a flavourful slice just wished there was more tomato sauce on the pizza.

sadboy makes some incredible pizza. This place would have hype if it was in Toronto or any other big city. All the ingredients are perfect and is one of the best pizzas I've had in Canada. It's right up there with Badiali for TO folks.
They also have great drinks in their fridges with both imported pop and great craft beer from breweries like Badlands, Third Moon and Elora.

The pizza is okay, but not great for the price. The crust and overall flavour were fairly basic, and the toppings felt sparse compared to what you’d expect at this price point. When compared to other boutique pizza spots in the GTA, it falls short on value. While it’s nice to have a spot like this in Georgetown, the experience was less impressive than anticipated

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is very nostalgic and reminiscent of the 90s - early 2000s, with CRT tvs buzzing and playing classic movies on VHS.
The pizza is really good all made right at the counter.
I’ve spent too many loonies on the pinball machines which are a blast! White Water - Williams (my favourite), Simpsons - Data East, and X-Men - Stern

Was craving a very specific type of pizza after leaving moving out of Toronto. Sadboy demolished the craving. The dough is fresh tasting while being flavourful and it’s cooked nicely. The crust was crispy with lots of air bubbles that give a really nice texture. The middle of the pizza was a little soggy but I find that can happen with this kind of style. However, their dessert… the cookie butter cake, is absolutely divine. Even if their pizza sucked (which it doesn’t) I would order again just for whatever that dessert is.

Fantastic pizza and vibe. Owner and staff are very welcoming. Our regular pizza choice in Georgetown.
Personally, it’s most definitely worth the extra few dollars for fresh ingredients, consistency, and flavour. You can tell there is thoughtfulness and passion for the craft behind the scenes.
