I absolutely LOVE the staff — they are all so amazing!! The owner, however, is an entirely different story. She is honestly one of the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. I have no idea how she’s managed to keep such wonderful staff around her, because I can’t imagine anyone enjoying working for someone like that. She is a nasty piece of work, and I won’t be returning. It’s truly a shame because I’ve enjoyed going there for years!
For mine and my husband’s 40th, I had dropped off a few balloons earlier in the day as I had planned to uber over and my sister brought two small surprise cakes for me and my hubby. The lovely staff took them from us with no issue — but then the owner came over and yelled at us in front of other customers, throwing the items back at us and saying they couldn’t take anything early. Her tone was unbelievably rude and aggressive. I have never been spoken to like that in my life. Knowing that I was bringing 30+ people later that evening, you’d think she’d show a little basic respect or hospitality. Instead, she made it very clear that she doesn’t value her customers at all. I refuse to support a business run by someone who treats people that way.

Its a bit of a shame, i used to like going to the George until last night when me and a buddy went, we sat at the bar and only ordered drinks. We tipped $20 in cash after we got our first drink. After we ordered about 5 more rounds the blonde bartender goes “no tip again” i’m sorry was the $20 in cash not enough for you to pour liquid in a glass for me? and then she told us to leave the bar for not tipping when we had already given her $20. At that point we left the bar in disbelief what an entitled brat

The consistency of the food at this local pub has been on a steady decline for a few years now. It hit an all time low last week. We ordered the salmon and it came out cold, they asked if we wanted it re-heated (never good for fish) or re-made so we opted for a re-make. It came out with lettuce covering the part of the fish I had already tried (yes they tried to hide the same piece of fish as if I wouldn't notice) Did I mention that lettuce was not on the dish to begin with? The meal was still cold. The waitress told us that she didn't want to go back in the kitchen because they were swearing at her the first time. We asked for a manager and guess what? No manager on the premises. What restaurant doesn't have a manager on duty to deal with issues?
I gave it 2 stars only because they have a decent selection of beverages on tap. Eat somewhere else and then come here for a pint, we won't eat here again.

Solid pub. What you see is what you get. Good spot
Went to meet some friends which we do every couple of months and this place is where we meet. The place is getting old and run down but that does not bother me as much as the food quality this time. It was horrible. I ordered fish and chips (2 pieces), the service was great but the fish was very over done that it was inedible and the fries were not cooked properly. I told the server and she said all she could do was 10% off which to me was a very poor offer on a meal that was inedible and leaving hungry. It should have been a free meal. I am not to pleased with this visit and don't know if I want to return again.

Nostalgia Almost similar like oubs in UK Wings are solid 5/5 when cooked on right temp Fries are fresh cut and made fresh 5/5 Servers are friendly and super fast. So far one of my best go to place for wings cravings.
Only issue is the serving glass for beers and liquor is extremely disappointing.. cheap walmart stuff.
