Traditional Taste Bakery & Cafe

First Portuguese bakery that I’ve gone to that won’t serve ham because of employees religious beliefs. Not one portuguese person in sight. I’m all for respecting people’s beliefs and their values, we all should be treated with respect, but it sounds like the “Traditional Taste” is no longer Portuguese.

Absolutely Gold. This place deserves all the praise. If you’re debating whether to go here or not, trust me , JUST. GO.

This is one of those places when I go, I say , take my money.

The owners are Portuguese and Portuguese people do things properly. Definitely coming back. 1000%

What a beautiful and tasty cake this was. We ordered vanilla with lemon and raspberry filling. The cake was gluten-free and dairy free and ever so delicious!

Also ordered Portuguese tarts and these are the first I've ever had that were delicious, the crust was flaky and the tart was perfect.

Traditional Taste is my favourite bakery in Georgetown. Their treats are incredible. When my 40th birthday was approaching, I knew I wanted Traditional Taste to make my cake. My family couldn't get over how light and delicious the cake was. It was the right amount of fruit and cream. Thank you for making my 40th birthday cake!

We came from Nova Scotia, and I’m still sitting down enjoying my treats while writing this, because it felt like home in Ontario! Such wonderful staff, we were greeted so happily, and the service was amazing. The food? Amazing. The coffee? Amazing!!! We love it. Any time I’m able to come back to Ontario I will be coming here ◡̈

Bought a cake for my grandmas 90th bday. She loved it and so did my whole family. Absolutely worth it!

Went for the natas but their malassadas were life changing. Definitely going back.

Went here for the first time ever and bought a cannoli to try and ended up coming back to buy 4 more 😅 everything looks amazing so will definitely be coming back to try other treats. The service was also amazing! Shout out to Francesca ♥️

I have to say they make delicious pastries and their cannoli's will knock your socks off! Customer service is amazing and always has a positive attitude towards their customers.

Amazing place the best Portuguese coffee in Georgetown.

I was in search of a carrot cake for a special birthday and wasn’t pleased with what I’d seen in grocery store bakeries. I looked up cake stores and Traditional Cafe and Bakery popped up. I gave them a call and within 2 hours I was picking up the most amazing carrot cake. It was 3 layers high, the perfect icing, not too sweet, super moist.

Definitely going to be buying more cakes from this store in the future.

I got a cake for my daughter first birthday and we loved it so much! It was so beautiful and decorated better than I ever imagine! It also tasted so amazing! I highly recommend!!!!! we have ordered many cakes for birthdays, easter and other family events, many desserts for get together and celebrations and always loved what we have gotten. I also stop in for lunch to grab a sandwich, coffee and treat, such a great team and amazing food!
