Atmosphere was nice and the booths were comfy however some of the tables need a good sanding. Our server was great.

Food was okay, my boyfriend loved his pizza but my smash burger was super dry. It was recommended which was a bummer. Deep fried cheese curbs were awesome.

Happy to go back but likely try something other then a burger.

I’ve been coming here on and off for a few years. Lately I usually order the blue cheese burger. Sometimes it’s absolutely amazing, but other times it’s just average. I’m not sure why the quality isn’t consistent.

I've always enjoyed my experience at this Big Rig location. This time around, there were some issues I feel merrit some attention of the manager/owner. We were a group of 7 that came in before the dinner rush, around 4:30pm. All the menus provided were extremely sticky with visible spill stains. The table surfaces were also sticky. The chairs were in rough condition and dirty. The male washroom had one sink in working condition with only cold running water.

The server was lovely and polite. That being said, the service was extremely slow. It took quite a while to get our orders placed. Upon finishing our meals we waited for about half an hour to clear the tables and get our bills.

I do NOT blame our sever for any of the above-mentioned. I got the impression they were understaffed.

I understand times our tough, businesses are struggling. But so are the customers when quality of service and atmosphere start to decline. It becomes less enticing to go back or possibly find another option. I hope this reaches the right people and some positive changes are implemented.

Smash burger was too thick and undercooked. Table was all scratched up and menu looks like it been through the wringer. Service was rushed with plates cleaned before all of us finished eating. Won’t return here that’s for sure

The pulled pork poutine is amazing! Very large portion. Ambiance is nice and cozy, although some tables and cushions could use some TLC.

We had a group of 11 people for a Birthday celebration. We were all very happy with the service, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and there was an excellent selection of drinks. Our server was friendly and organized, striking a great balance between being attentive yet not checking in too frequently. The atmosphere was perfect for our gathering. They accommodated us with a large booth where we were able to all see each other and it was easy to chat and hear everyone. We will definitely be going to Big Rig for future celebrations!

Came here once with my kid’s hockey team parents. Everything was smooth and easy — good food, good service, and a comfortable spot for a group hangout. All good overall. I’ll grab some photos next time.

The restaurant was pretty empty and the hostess had to make our drinks for us. They were out of olives and the coffee cocktail my mom ordered was served room temperature. My martini came without olives, but they are able to substitute spicy beans. All In all the service was pretty good , but I probably wouldn't go back for drinks

Super friendly waitresses, good with kids. Food arrived fast, they ensured to bring the kids meals out first which is pretty key as a parent. I didn't mind waiting for the pizza that took longer.

Was with group, only had time for a coffee. Received warm translucent brownish water so clear the bottom of the cup was visible. There was maybe the hint of coffee flavor on taste test. It was undrinkable.

I tried to get the servers attention to have it remade but could not with all the noise.

I ran out of time and had to go without getting my coffee. On the way out I passed the server whom I said the coffee provided was not coffee. I explained it was at best brownish water with a hint of coffee flavour, hut was not coffee. They told me they made me a fresh cup and maybe I just didn't like the coffee.

I drink 4-5 cups of coffee a day, black usually, sometimes with cream and have been a regular coffee drinker for 25 years. I know when a coffee is not a coffee.

I said if that was a fresh coffee then they have some serious issues with their machine.

My guess is that this coffee was a rerun from a different coffee. That is the exact effect one would get if they tried to run hot water over previously filtered beans

Update: During my conversation on the way out the server asked if they should remove the coffee from the bill. I said well yes, there was no coffee in the mug. The bill was being covered by a coworker as a christmas treat for the group. When I asked them the next day if the coffee was on the bill and they told me it was.

This is essentially theft, as they charged for a product they did not provide.
