I’ve tried so many falafel places in Ottawa that I’ve lost count, and this one is by far the best. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and flavorful. The owners are also super sweet and welcoming. It feels like you’re entering their home, and they treat you like family.

The shawarma was excellent as well and had a delicious homemade taste.

This will definitely be my go-to spot for falafel sandwiches from now on!”

“This is the best sushi I’ve tried so far in Ottawa. When I say the best, I mean the best overall.
Every component of the dish is excellent on its own. The rice is cooked perfectly, fully done but not soft or mushy. The seasoning is outstanding, just like in Japan, and noticeably less sweet than most places in Ottawa, which I really appreciate. This is how it should taste.
The fish was fresh and properly seasoned. The balance between fish and rice is spot on, with generous portions. Plenty of salmon, double eel, and large pieces of tuna. Just check the photos.
This is definitely my go-to place for sushi takeout.”

“I popped into Smokeys on a whim and glad that I did. I had the smoked meat sandwhich and it was one of the best tasting I've had. The meat was well seasoned, flavorful, moist and enjoyable to eat. I also ordered a side of the coleslaw and again I was very impreased. It was creamy without being watery, had good crunch and the flavour was superb.

“This was my first time here. I had the spinach dip and cheese pizza. Kayla gave us good service even though there was only 2 servers and almost every table was full. The food was very good. The place was clean. Wheelchair accessible. All free parking. A great place for the whole family. A must try !!”

“So this was my first introduction to Happy Goat back in 2024. The barista working there was a really great conversationalist and I befriended her then I believe.

I haven't seen here there when I moved in a month ago but the baristas that are there now are just as good, and the coffee is still as good.

It's in the station so the vibe is just ok (I don't think that can be fixed due to location). The coffee shop is geared for take outs and that coffee you need when you need to get to work.”
