“I popped into Smokeys on a whim and glad that I did. I had the smoked meat sandwhich and it was one of the best tasting I've had. The meat was well seasoned, flavorful, moist and enjoyable to eat. I also ordered a side of the coleslaw and again I was very impreased. It was creamy without being watery, had good crunch and the flavour was superb.

“I went to the standard to enjoy a patio on Canada Day. The Waitresses were all wearing masks and respected physical distancing. our table was sanitized. We drank out of pineapple, which was over the top in a good way. I had fish tacos, which were okay but they were a little bit liquidy. my friend had a chicken burger with just the right amount of crunch. it was the perfect patio and the perfect drink in the perfect food on a perfect day.“

“Food was decent. The calamari was slightly over coated with their spices but still crispy. The buffalo chicken sliders were tasty. Very soft and moist. The fried pickles were also good. Must give a shout out to Taylor7074 for the great service. She was attentive and made sure our order was correct and arrived piping hot.“

“While visiting friends in Ottawa, and with their suggestion, we were told about the smoked meat sandwiches at this establishment.

Four of us for dinner at about 6.oo PM on a Tuesday evening. The place was not busy and we were seated quite quickly.

A very pleasant server greeted us and took our orders. (Sorry I neglected to get her name) A very varied menu made our choice for dinner very difficult. So many quite appetizing choices but two of our party settled on the Smoke meat sandwiches with fries and Onion rings.

After a very short wait I was surprised and quite pleased by the quantity and quality of the sandwich... very lean and more than enough to satisfy my hunger.

All in All a very pleasant dinner experience. The food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant and the cost for dinner out for the 4 of us was reasonable.

A destination we would all visit again.“

“Came for the IESA State Wrestling tournament. swung in for some drinks during a break to celebrate my nephew getting into the Championship. Our server/bartender/ runner/ host/ one man front of house machine GREG!!!! and his cook who we couldn't utilize sadly because only those two were running the place and we had a limited time. Great environment, menu looked amazing, amd great taps available. Gregg acknowledged every person walking through the door got us our drinks with perfect timing and could be seen running the floor to help everyone out. next time We're up north this place will be a for sure stop. and hopefully we can run into Gregg again to get the same stellar service.“

“Good pub food, great weekly deals. Fun staff and delicious beer. A great local pub! Even on cheap wing night, the wings are fantastic and chonky. Come Wednesday night, get a pint of Flora Hall IPA and a pound or two of wings.“

The portion was really good. We also tried the tacos and wings- both items were good. The service was also great. One of the plus point is the operating hours.“
