“Got the special for 2-3 people. Peking duck pretty good. I think the deep fried duck wings were meh - too oily and it's just bones. Veggies I liked very much. Braised fish was overcooked and tough. Lobster noodles ok too. A bit pricey for the mixed quality, but it's the only real Chinese food option in the area, especially when you have Chinese parents. I recommend ordering a la carte for whatever you feel like vs the special set.“

“Olive was my waiter and she was the best!!! She was super quick and was super friendly throughout. I got the beef brisket spicy noodle soup and it was amazing the beef was so tender and the soup was super flavourful. The best noodle I have had In Ottawa.“

“Came here on a whim after going to a brewery and needed some quick food. It was a Friday night, so it was very busy, but luckily there was a table for two because we just walked in. Super great service and very friendly staff. The orders came out very quick since it’s mainly dumplings and we tried the lamb and coriander as it’s not something that I can make at home and we also tried the curry pan fried dumplings. Both were super delicious and actually very filling. We took some of it home and they included some of the spicy sauce with it. Definitely will be coming back to try more! I would suggest coming in a group so you can order multiple things.“

“We were walking by late night and wanted something warm and tasty. We stopped in and ordered egg fried rice, it was hot and delicious! The rice was so tasty along with the veggies and eggs. We ordered it spicy, loved it! Not to mention the rice was perfectly crumbly and not one bit greasy! When we're back in Ottawa, we will definitely be back!“

“We have been eating Lucky House food since they were at MacArthur Plaza way back when. I don't live in Ottawa anymore but everytime I visit I buy their food to enjoy whole I'm here but also bring back an order chicken fried rice and a couple of dozen egg rolls to enjoy when I go back home (west coast). The Chinese food out west is not the same. We had their dinner for 2A and then added some beef and broccoli and an almond soo guy. “Love these guys. Typical Chinese-Canadian food, have been ordering the combo F for over a decade. Food is simple, but very tasty. Also, years ago (before uber eats and all that), I was actually missing a buck or two (mistake on my part, didn't count my money right like a first year university student that can't handle his liquor quite yet) and their delivery guy was nice enough to give me the food anyways. “This is just a take out place so the atmosphere can only be so good.
The service is just fine, they even bend over backwards to serve you quickly.
What I like the most is maybe just a detail, but I think it's important; The chicken balls use consistently nice white breast meat that has no gristle or weird texture.
The deep frying is not greasy at all.
Some of the options are very 'normal' but that's fine with me. Chinese food is comfort food, and I happen to like the regular offerings a lot.
What's nice though is their more traditional dishes are quite nice indeed for a little takeout place.
At this point, I'd say they are my favorite spot in Gatineau for takeout. I know quite a few dine-in places that are nowhere close to this good and consistent.“

“Terrific fast Chinese food. Service is very polite, and they treat their newcomers well. Portions are at the very least value for your dollar, and often feel generous. Located on the side street.
It was quiet and the staff were so polite and friendly.
Inside was very spacious and clean.
Food was great and freshly made. Good portion.
I love their chili garlic oil.
One thing concerns me is the parking space, good thing we parked on the other fastfood chain near by and we just walk few blocks away going on this place.

Overall was a good experience if you're craving for good food that makes your belly full and satisfied.

“From Toronto but this place is much better than Cypress Garden; likely the best chinese I’ve had in Ottawa. Great portions and the fried rice was actually amazing I was shocked, wings were great too. Only thing I wouldn’t get again was the General Tso Chicken bc it was not crispy. Amazing fried rice“
