La Maison Szechuan Reviews
Great service! I ordered takeout without calling ahead, and my food was ready surprisingly quickly. Everything was fresh, hot, and tasted delicious. The portions were generous for the price, making it a great value. The staff were friendly and welcoming. La Maison Szechuan is a restaurant known for its impressive menu and attentive service. The all-you-can-eat offering is considered a fair value, though some have noted issues with the composition and taste of the food. While the menu items look visually appealing, there have been concerns about the lack of protein or the similarity in flavors between certain dishes. The restaurant's spring rolls and egg rolls have been described as predominantly fried breading with little filling. Despite these minor criticisms, the restaurant has a loyal following who appreciate the impeccable service and convenient parking options.
Customers enjoy the different menus offered, including a Westernized Chinese menu with Szechuan influences and a more authentic Chinese menu. Many dishes, such as lobster sauce shrimp, curry beef, and beef broccoli, are highly praised for their flavor and seasoning. The lemon chicken stands out with its variety of sauces and crispy texture, not overly sweet. The deep-fried spinach is also a unique highlight, with the perfect amount of sugar. The staff is friendly and bilingual, able to switch between English, French, and Mandarin. The interior looks very nice, and parking is available on the street nearby, making the restaurant convenient to visit. Many diners note that the food is quick to come out and enjoy the authentic Szechuan flavors. Overall, La Maison Szechuan offers a tasty experience with good service, though some may find the menu limited or the food less protein-rich.
