“Our DIL invited us to this charming restaurant. The food was wonderful and we tried a variety of items from the menu ranging from spicy to non-spicy. I
was advised by someone from Hong Kong that the food is considered authentic by those from her city and China.

Everything was impeccably prepared and presented. Our hostess even played with our baby granddaughter (known to her and welcomed). I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“I have been here a few times since I moved into the neighbourhood and I've always enjoyed the food. You get great value for what you get I always get a few meals ordering two entrees. The staff is always really friendly and I love it when the cute little guys are there playing in the front of house they are never in the way but it's so cute to see them playing. “Hands down the best Chinese food takeout in west end of Ottawa. Food is delicious with generous portions (especially meat!) at prices below their competition. Take that drive to Richmond... it's well worth it.

“Ordered a dozen egg roll, General Tso, Cantonese chow mein, chicken fried rice and chicken balls. The chicken balls come with more chicken than breading at a 70/30 ratio. The chow mein was very good and flavourful with fresh chicken shrimp and pork. Chicken fried rice was good same as most chinese spots. The General Tso on the other hand was a huge miss. It came bland, not too spicy and the sauce was broken and more watery than thick. Egg rolls were as they always have been for years- the best in the city.“

“Everything is simply awesome. The menus are simple, with a lot if options. The service is very polite and friendly (and online ordering is a big plus), food is delivered very promptly (one time it was 15 minutes early!). The food portions are generous, but quality is not sacrificed for quantity. What's a cool plus is that they use a mix of Styrofoam and reusable plastic containers (not only better for storage but a little less wasteful). I have only eaten 3 times from here, but have been very happy all times. The fried rice, general tao chicken, chicken balls, and egg rolls (among like 5 others I've tried) have all tasted great. Definitely think I've found my new Chinese delivery / take out place!“

“Awesome prices! Amazing spring rolls for a good price. For 18 you get a combo plate and the portion is massive! Great service me and my mom called today the 9th of January and were ten min away (4:50pm) and she said 45 minutes and we asked if she could do it any faster. We got there and we got our food and a free drink(5:05pm). Love it here definitely coming back!!!“

“I went there to take out for dinner, the freshness of the food is amazing, and the staff is amazingly polite and great, I’m giving 4 starts because in other locations the portions are better, if the portions were just be a little bigger I would definitelly keep coming back more and more often. But for now will visit another locations.“

“I ordered takeout through Uber eats. There was a lot of food packed into the containers. I got the chicken balls, honey garlic spare ribs, oriental sweet and sour pork and vegetable chow Mein. The chow Mein was the star of the show. I love the wok hei flavour in the noodles. The chicken balls stayed crispy. The sweet and sour pork coating ended up not being crispy anymore, probably due to delivery. The spare ribs flavour was nice and the meat was tender. I will try more traditional dishes next time.“

I’ve read a bunch of the negative reviews and personally don’t see where they’re coming from. The food is always delicious. It’s quick to get and the staff are kind and welcoming.“

“Don’t believe the negative reviews. The food was really good. I did order at 4:30pm so maybe the time of day does make a difference. The portion size was really good for the price. I have attached the menu for reference since their website is out of date for prices“

“Dropped by on a whim and sat in for food. We were the only people there, with everyone else popping in for takeout. Ordered the open ended egg rolls, general tao and beef and broccoli with rice. Everyone was friendly and they gave us our space, but checked in with us to make sure we were doing well. General Tao was mild with a slight crunch that was satisfying, and the beef and broccoli was saucy and the broccoli had a good crunch to it. The open ended egg rolls were absolutely delicious! My stomach is always hit or miss with Chinese food, so we’ll see how it fairs, but I was pleasantly surprised and will return to try out more dishes!“
