We ordered the creamy chicken curry, cumin pork and the cabbage golden soup (not in picture). Weve also had their grandma pork and eggs and their mappo tofu.

Seems like a hidden gem, since it doesn’t get all the busy but is a good contender for Asian restaurants in Kanata.“

“This little gem has been in Kanata for over 30 years. Sadly due to a fire next door they are currently closed but I see they are working hard to reopen.

I support this family business, have for years. Great food. Egg rolls are the best. Good portion sizes.

“I have been here a few times since I moved into the neighbourhood and I've always enjoyed the food. You get great value for what you get I always get a few meals ordering two entrees. The staff is always really friendly and I love it when the cute little guys are there playing in the front of house they are never in the way but it's so cute to see them playing. I always recommend this place.“

“Everything is simply awesome. The menus are simple, with a lot if options. The service is very polite and friendly (and online ordering is a big plus), food is delivered very promptly (one time it was 15 minutes early!). The food portions are generous, but quality is not sacrificed for quantity. What's a cool plus is that they use a mix of Styrofoam and reusable plastic containers (not only better for storage but a little less wasteful). I have only eaten 3 times from here, but have been very happy all times. The fried rice, general tao chicken, chicken balls, and egg rolls (among like 5 others I've tried) have all tasted great. Definitely think I've found my new Chinese delivery / take out place!“

“I've been ordering from Barrhaven Lucky Panda for quite a while, and they never disappoint. My go to order is the General Tao chicken (extra spicy), chicken fried rice, and the honey garlic spare ribs. Every meal has been consistently fresh, hot, and delicious.

What really keeps me coming back is the friendly service. The staff / owners are always smiling, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which makes picking up my order a pleasure every time.

I also appreciate the value. Ordering directly and picking up on my way home from work saves me money compared to using Uber Eats or DoorDash. The prices are much more reasonable buying in store.

“Ordered delivery and it was delivered hot in an hour as promised. Chicken balls were crispy and tender inside, red sauce was yummy. Egg rolls were skinny but tasty. Hot n sour soup needs a bit more salt, more heat and more acidity for my taste. Scheszuen veggies and rice were a nice side and I appreciated the free pepsi and fortune cookies. Was better than expected and would order again. One small thing is they market NO MSG but this has been debunked now. We love umami just ask Uncle Roger. Fuiy-OH!“

“I ordered takeout through Uber eats. There was a lot of food packed into the containers. I got the chicken balls, honey garlic spare ribs, oriental sweet and sour pork and vegetable chow Mein. The chow Mein was the star of the show. I love the wok hei flavour in the noodles. The chicken balls stayed crispy. The sweet and sour pork coating ended up not being crispy anymore, probably due to delivery. The spare ribs flavour was nice and the meat was tender. I will try more traditional dishes next time.“

“If anyone says anything negative about this place I beg you to ignore them. I have a few severe food allergies that I am usually pretty clear on everytime I show up to dine in. Its my own risk for doing this but I can say that most things I tried, including the crispy noodle chow mein, are totally safe for peanut/nut allergies and sea food allergies. Look if youre celiac maybe thinnk of eating somewhere else?? I dont think any asian restaurant in the area is gluten friendly I would skip altogether dont be a bother. The pho is KILLER, better then noodle house down the road, may not have as many options as them but phu yens broth is more then authentic. Even the chinese food is really really good, and again for allergies you never know but be very clear with the staff, Cause I eat here all the time and never had a single reaction, where i went to an indian place not far and that right away gave me a reaction I just ordered a rice dish from the place. Long story short, I love their hot coffee, 5/5 stars for that, crispy chow mein is insane, pho is delicious, their vermicelli and rice/meat dishes tastes fresh everytime, dont expect a 5 star meal here folks but I guarantee what quality they have to offer should blow you away.“

“Dropped by on a whim and sat in for food. We were the only people there, with everyone else popping in for takeout. Ordered the open ended egg rolls, general tao and beef and broccoli with rice. Everyone was friendly and they gave us our space, but checked in with us to make sure we were doing well. General Tao was mild with a slight crunch that was satisfying, and the beef and broccoli was saucy and the broccoli had a good crunch to it. The open ended egg rolls were absolutely delicious! My stomach is always hit or miss with Chinese food, so we’ll see how it fairs, but I was pleasantly surprised and will return to try out more dishes!“
