We went to Ben Ben Restaurant yesterday and I was really disappointed. I haven't been there in almost 4 years and it use to be one of my favorite restaurants. The fried rice was really greasy. The General Tao's chicken use to be way better there was to much sauce use to be a bit more crispy and didn't taste at all the same has it use too the sauce was a bit tasteless. We were a party of 12. Attentive service and delicious food. This is my second visit with a large group and loved the experience.
This small place is one of the two best Chinese restaurants on Somerset Street in Ottawa. You don't go for the decor, you go for the food! Very very good. Family owned and operated. Très très bon. Authentique. Sympathique.
