Food is simply some of the best I have ever tasted. Extremely comparable to actually going to Montreal!!! The smoked meat actually melts in your mouth, the fries are better than most chip stands!!!! The assortment I grabbed looked great in the bag, and the photos I took really show off the texture and colour. A simple, reliable stop that delivers every time.

“I recommend Kettlemans as the food is good and they have good variety. That said. The service is sub-par. My wife and I stop here regularly on Sunday Mornings about 7 am 2 or 3 times a month. Consistently nobody greets us even though there are many workers who make eye contact and just keep doing whatever they're doing. More often than not we have to call out to get attention after waiting several minutes at the front counter. Management doesn't seem to value customer service and simply expects people to keep coming back as if Kettlemans' history entitles them to customers. That is a surprising attitude in an otherwise excellent store.”

“On average we get take out from Sula Wok once per week. We love the food and the vibe of the place. (Sula and her gang are also very nice to deal with). I really like the traditional Pad Thai. Recently, Sula asked that I try a slightly new version of the dish (apparently less fishy). Sula asked that I let her know if I liked it or not. While I thought the taste was a little different (maybe not as spicy or “fishy”), I still loved it and will be ordering it again.”

I know it’s hard to take your family out sometimes and sometimes you share what you all have. But how they treated us so amazing with sharing the meal with my family of 4, and we only ordered 2 meals. And the waitress was so amazing because my kids really wanted tot try the ice cream but it wasn’t in the budget… but she saw how bad they wanted it and gave it to them on the house. “My wife and I hired Keerthi to design and make the wedding cake for our October wedding, and I couldn't be happier with the warmth and care that she put into making sure the cake was just perfect for us! We tried quite a few flavours and ended up sticking with the maple apple cake, which went along with the fall vibes of the wedding perfectly! I was worried that our request for a black cake would be difficult to pull off, but she knocked it out of the park and the guests at our wedding were RAVING about it.

Well, I found (thank you David) the best place, and the fully renovated no longer clock tower pub now the Sultan Ahmet Turkish Cuisine Resto!

Lunch style 'table d' hote' with soup, main & desert for $25.... And I took alot home!! So I had the lentil soup (one of the best I have ever had), the beef iskendar kabap lunch portion & pistachio baklava! Which was more than enough for leftovers. AND got to try the mix mezze plate (with Ezme, Baba Ganoush, Hummus & Cacik) & bread!

And great service.. Had Abdulla, the manager serve me...Sweet, adorable & professional!!

While the scallops were cooked well the purée lacked flavour.. missing that hit of cheese. I had to use some lemon to liven the dish a bit. My friend had the streak frites, medium rare that came rare. We had the kitchen bring to temp. I had a bite and it was tender and flavourful. The AV equipment is a breeze to set up, we control the volume of the music and the temperature in the room. That space, the team, the set menu they offer- just the best!”

“Went here yesterday, really loved the ambience and the reflect of Nepali culture as the interior. I loved all food, everything was delicious. My favorite was the selroti achar and chowmein with their chutney. It gave me a typical Nepali taste and it felt so good. The service was lovely. Thank you so much for serving us and making our experience beautiful overall. Special thanks to the cook and the friendly young guy and girl who was in the cashier. Definitely recommend when you visit Ottawa and you’re craving some good Nepali food!”
