“Had an incredibly wonderful evening at O'Connell's tonight!I manage a large snow removal company and came to this establishment to hunker down and direct various teams as they finished a storm.The bartender on staff, Amber, was incredibly welcoming. The patrons were mostly industry, and all were clearly having an amazing time.Until now I've spent most of my recreational time in the East end of the city, but Amber's stellar service and the ambience of O'Connell's may have enticed me to make the extra drive out this direction more often.Thank you, Amber!!!“
“It was St. Patrick's Day eve so the place was rip roaring and packed. Thankfully we had a reservation. Our server was the bartender at the back bar. As busy as he was, he was very attentive. My husband had the beef dip and thought it was just ok. I had the seafood chowder and thought it was amazing.“
“The staff, food and service were always great in my experience, but lately there’s been a lot of older men touching girls without their consent. Be especially careful of a short black haired man holding a rose. He was dancing way too close to a lot of girl groups and was very persistent. It’s sad because my friends and I love the live music experience, but we can’t fully enjoy it without being heckled constantly.“
“The classic Irish Pub atmosphere is remarkable. Our server Ciara was pleasant and bubbly.We ordered tacos, burgers and a grilled chicken sandwich which was the best in my opinion.Definitely going back for a pint, food and to play a board game with the family“
“Great place, with friendly staff, great atmosphere. Food often good but not reliably so.As examples, the seafood chowder used to be a favourite, but recently it often is little more than a bowl of cream. Same with fish and chips - sometimes great, other times badly overcooked.“
