“Ottawa South location: My friend ordered lamb shank and i ordered beef shami and chicken.Lamb shank taste n quantity was good. Quantity was ok but shami tasted yum.The whole platter was full of rice and was served with small bowl of lentil chicken. My friend ordered Qabli Rice Afghan Naan and Spinach for takeaway. Next day we were disappointed as the quantity of the spinach was not even 1 serving.Qabli rice was a joke.boiled plain rice topped with lil carrots and dirty raisins. I had to cook vegetable and lentil to finish the mountains of rice:(“

“I have been going here for almost a decade now and the meat pies (Meat & Cheese specifically) is as good as ever. The Meat & Cheese pies are $4.50 each but the pies themselves are pretty big so it’s well worth it.

These are easily the best pies in Ottawa compared to all the other pie places I’ve been to such as Aladdin’s or other smaller bakeries. The pies are made fresh daily which are cycled through quickly ensuring the pies are still hot and the meat juicy by the time you get it.

The bakers are extremely friendly and hospitable to any patrons of the bakery. The same individuals have been at this bakery for a years, consistently baking the best.“
