“I was craving shawarma and found this place on my way home from work. I'm new to Ottawa and my shawarma standards are high because my hometown has amazing shawarma that no other spots have come close to and I've tried many places already in Ottawa. Let me tell you, this place DID NOT DISSAPOINT! Amazing shawarma every bit of it! I will definitely be returning. The best I've had in Ottawa by FAR!“

“I haven’t been to the location in person but I’ve gotten delivery and the food is consistently delicious and of good quality. The chicken is meaty with no gristle and a crispy coating. The leftover fries are even still good the next day!“

“Dinned in here for Iftar with friends. Tried different things from the menu. Great hospitality and nice service.The price was reasonable compared to the portion of the food. The only point to consider was the freshness of their food in particular their salad and fish. Also food wasn’t very authentic. The manager was very nice and offered couple of things for free (Fimto drink, extra soup, and dates). Environment was good too except the smoke that killed the vibe! Overall experience was good but they definitely need some improvements.“

“Good spot to have some sandwiches. The burgers on the other hand are creative but lack flavour. The place has limited seating, the atmosphere smells oily and unpleasant at times. The drinks machine, especially coke - needed some maintenance as it tasted bad.
Would recommend to prefer taking out than dining in.“

“Love Lebanese food and this is the real deal (plus a great deal on the price too :) Tried this while travelling to Ottawa and really happy with the experience - the options and taste of the food, the care in the preparation, the great conversation while waiting. Would happily go again!

“I have lived in Ottawa for 20 years in different neighbourhoods and this is the city's best pizza! I've had meat and vegetarian options. Wings and salad are also quite good. I am going to try the Lebanese baked goods next (Zaatar, etc).“

“My friends recommend this place to me and I drove from a long distance to try their fried chicken and it was really worth it, the chicken was so tender and very seasoned, good chunks of it too and none of those fake skins (flour dipped) from other chicken spots. Best fried chicken indeed and I really recommend it.Ps: the restaurant is always closed on Sundays as I was informed by cashier.“

“We had the Veg combo, which was good quantity, and the food was delicious. The reason for 4 star is the samosa they served with the combo was not good at all, and it was a bit bitter. It almost felt like old stuff was reheated or it was fried in old oil. But everything else was good“

“First time trying out Amaya, and I was not disappointed. Great staff friendly and helpful in choosing what to eat today. I would have come by to say how it was but had to get back on the road. It was very delicious and flavorful. I will be back to try something new soon.

“Kids love the halal pepperoni pizza. The dough is delicous.
I eat gluten free and always order a lettuce wrapped bun. The hamburger and all beef bacon are also halal. See Haddar if you want a lettuce wrapped burger or sandwich. He is aware of gluten allergies. We go here often for burgers and pizza. Strawberry shakes are good too.
Very decent prices.

“We ordered the family platter for 4. Halal bbq beef ribs and pulled beef were great. It is a largely self service place with disposable dishes and plates but glad the utensils were of steel. Also liked the corn bread.“
