“First time trying the pizza here at Giovanni’s Snack Bar and Pizzeria. Absolutely delicious!! Ordered the Margarita Pizza. Giovanni was extremely kind from the moment I walked in until I left today. “Not just great pizza but the burgers are amazing too!! Once you try it you'll be back for more. Lincoln Field's area. Large Halal menu too. Support local business!!“

“We enjoyed our dining experience very much! The ambiance and service was fantastic! The food was fresh and delicious with excellent size portions! Highly recommend!“

“Incredibly delicious pizza! The crust is pretty special…light and crispy but not overly done. High quality toppings. It’s evident that a lot of care and pride goes into their cooking.“

“I ordered 7 pizzas for work for lunchtime today (placed Sunday afternoon). Not only were they spot on my requested pickup time, but they numbered each box to help us remember which toppings were in each pizza (which was ideal as I had vegetarians, and non-pork eaters). It’s such a small touch, but it made the distribution SO much easier! The food was stellar, very comparable to what you’d get in Chicago. Thank you for offering something so different, and top quality, in a market filled with pizza clones. My entire team raved about the pizza.“

“I was so generously given a slice of cheese pizza today while stopping by. It was by far the best slice of pizza I’ve ever had in my life. (I’ve had my fair share) Absolutely fantastic, definitely recommend!!!! Chefs kiss“

“Been living in Westboro for a few years and we wanted to try this new place that our neighbours told us about. What a lovely atmosphere! The service is very friendly, and they were accomodating for us to send one of their employees outside to our car to give us the pizza!! And the food is delicious!! We ordered a large pizza and the club sandwich and it was served with fries and a delicious salad on the side. Great stuff. Can't wait to come here in the summer!!“

“Fantastic First Visit – We’ll Be Back! We had a great first experience at this lovely Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was classy yet comfortable, and the food was excellent. We shared a tasty calamari appetizer, I had a huge gourmet personal pizza, and my husband enjoyed the shrimp linguine—everything was delicious. Despite a busy restaurant and patio, the two servers handled it all with speed and care. Service was attentive, and the prices were very reasonable for the generous portions. We’ll definitely be returning!“

“Just had the House Special. 10/10. I believe this was the best pizza I have ever had. My wife also loved her BBQ Meat Lovers (9/10)“

I can totally see why!! My taste buds were in heaven with their pizza. You know I just had the sneak a bite of their wrap from my partner after how tasty the pizza was. Let me tell you... the wraps are incredible as well!! I am definitely ordering from here again ❤“

“Best service good quality“

“Genuinely one of the best pizza places in ottawa. The service was quick and polite and the pizza is delicious. Prices arent too steep and its worth every dollar. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially students looking for something good and quick on a budget“

“OMG!!! So unexpectedly great pizza. Great staff. Cozy dining room.“

“I likeed the pizza and the service ..very professional and friendly stuff .“

“Ordered a small, one-topping (chicken) pizza and it was delicious and made right on time. Loved the quick, friendly service by the staff members. Only a little bit of dip sauce on the side would have made it even better. Overall, very good.“

“Well..

This is our favorite pizza place in ottawa.

This woman that makes the pizza knows what she is doing. Since i can remember as long as she is doing the cooking its fabulous.

We order pizza and zucchini and yes they have the proper sauce just like the old days. Its not those crappy thin zucchini you get this is just like it should be, proper zucchini, proper sauce.... Would be even better if it was eat in.

This is my absolute favorite pizza in ottawa and has been for over 20 years.

Its Worth giving a try in my honest opinion unless you are looking for these new style gourmet pizzas and if thats your thing... that's your thing. But Carlos is classic og pizza.

This pizza is old school from an old school wonderful Italian lady.

I am never disappointed when she makes my pizzas and they are always to perfection.

Can't wait for my next order.

I can't give an honest review on anything else but the pizza and zucchini so I will leave on that note.

Thank you Carlos for the many years of satisfying pizza.“

“I ordered Pizza from this location, but we had an incident; the manager at the store dealt with it professionally and instantly; I definitely recommend this location“

“Best pizza places I have ever known“

It was delicious and will definitely have it every time i visit Ottawa. Such an amazing staff as well as great food and service.

I would suggest to try it.“

“Quality pizza and wings. Great tasting, filling, and delivered hot.“

“Can I give them 10/5?“

“Got 2 Farouj chickens, greek salad & fries. Genuinely some of the best chicken I have ever had and my husband drove 30 mins with it. So delicious and fresh. Roasted to perfection. Fries were also flavourful and I enjoyed the greek salad.

Don’t usually have high expectations when eating out anymore but this was so good we could not stop raving about it!“

“Always amazed works 💖 just great service“

“Phenomenal pizza from a experienced pizza chief, a delightful food experience and excellent prices.“

“My rating is actually a 3.75 - so rounded up to 4 stars. In the city, Ottawa, this is a safe Pizza Pizza. We ask for ours 'well done.' Crust and the top is pretty darn good when 'well done.' Never burnt - basically, just not a hurried pizza. Quite reasonably priced pizza options to choose from too. But, not all Pizza Pizza franchise locations are as good as here. (Smiths Falls has a surprisingly good Pizza Pizza location too.)

We call ahead for pick-up.“

“First time ordering takeout from this restaurant, was not sure what to expect....absolutely delicious food! Whoever the cook is there is excellent...thank you!“

“Today the waitress remembered me from 4 years ago when I lived a few blocks away :) The atmosphere and the food is amazing! The special was a Lebanese dish that was soo good. The best pizza I have ever had!“

“What an amazing little spot! I had the prosciutto primo (I think that’s the name) and it was DELISH, SOOOOO WORTH IT I’m gonna come back here every time I’m visiting Ottawa. Sam was so incredibly helpful and kind and recommended the sandwhich I got which I will remember until I die, it was so delicious. I want to have the baby of the bread they use, it’s that good. There is a gorgeous patio in the back, and the atmosphere inside is super cute and is the perfect indie cafe/sandwich shop, but also very clean. Thank you guys for such a wonderful experience!!“

“I visited this pizzeria recently and ordered the GIANNI while my friend had the POMPEI. Both pizzas were excellent featuring a nice thin crust and quality ingredients. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very pleasant. If you're in the mood for authentic Italian pizza, I would absolutely recommend this pizzeria.“

“This restaurant is a gem! From the moment you are greeted, to the on going service, to the excellent food, it is nothing short of perfect. The waitresses were polite, attentive and accommodating. I asked that the Franco pizza be made into a calzone with some added ingredients. No problem! It was prepared to perfection and brought out pipping hot, which is an added bonus. What a great experience!!!“

“The best Pizza. Great service and delicious.“

“Very friendly and quick service“

“Great food, served hot and fresh. Fried chicken dinner is a winner!!! The pizza was generously loading with toppings and delicious. Friendly and courteous staff made my first experience a memorable one. Thanks for a great feed.“

“Absolutely exceptional! I tried the Bank Mushroom pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. I’ve lived in Ottawa for over 10 years, and I can honestly say I’ve never had pizza this good here. Everything was perfect — the sourdough crust, the fresh ingredients, the flavours, and the balance of every topping. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into each pizza. Definitely one of the best pizza experiences I’ve had. Highly recommended! 🍕🔥“

“We ordered delivery, and couldn’t be happier about the service: the order taker and the delivery (to a complicated place) were superb. The pizza was fantastic and we can’t wait to try the butter chicken pizza.

What a great edition to Ottawa the Ottawa food landscape.

“Best food around. As well as in-store bakery, amazing.“

“The small bacon poutine was A+
You can't go wrong with a medium Harbour Special. The food was just as good as its always been. In fact, I booked my camping vacation at the provincial park just so I could show the kids what a real pizza tastes like.
Thanks Fitzroy Harbour, we love your town!“

“We had a lovely dinner at Joe's in Almonte tonight. Great service, good food and all around enjoyable.“
