“On average we get take out from Sula Wok once per week. We love the food and the vibe of the place. (Sula and her gang are also very nice to deal with). I really like the traditional Pad Thai. Recently, Sula asked that I try a slightly new version of the dish (apparently less fishy). Sula asked that I let her know if I liked it or not. While I thought the taste was a little different (maybe not as spicy or “fishy”), I still loved it and will be ordering it again.“

“It’s now my only go-to food truck. My favourite is the jerk chicken taco, the flavours are so well balanced. Hubby’s favourite is the Fish taco. Friendly staff, and I love the touch that they don’t make guests stand around, they deliver your food to the available picnic tables (when there’s seating available, they’re that busy at lunchtime) or to wherever you’re standing.“

“Loved this place, came with my family and the service was amazing . The food was to die for. And they honestly were really amazing with my kids. I know it’s hard to take your family out sometimes and sometimes you share what you all have. But how they treated us so amazing with sharing the meal with my family of 4, and we only ordered 2 meals. And the waitress was so amazing because my kids really wanted tot try the ice cream but it wasn’t in the budget… but she saw how bad they wanted it and gave it to them on the house. I’m telling you now I will be coming here a lot more.“

The homemade seitan "pulled phork" sandwich is to die for. Love the mozza sandwich! The almond and chocolate croissants are out of this world. The Nanaimo bars are a real sweet treat, hard to pace myself lol. The smores brownie is my daughter's fave. I get to visit them every day before work and it's got me feeling so blessed🥰. “Me and my family just came at this beautiful restaurant and it was so lovely. We had Oliver as our server and he was outstanding and gave us great recommendations! He even gave a free cook book as I go off into my first year of university. The restaurant is super cozy with nice music and calm lighting. I would absolutely come again. “Wonderful, inclusive folks! Very nice staff, who were very helpful. This may seem like an odd thing to say, but it was really great that they made sure they rented an accessible portable washroom for their large market event. As I was sporting crutches (I recently broke my ankle), it was a total life saver that I didn’t need to take the stairs! Not sure if the port-a-potty is an “always” thing, but just the fact that they had it for their street market when so many folks wouldn’t even think of it made me grateful. Thank you for being the loveliest hosts! I’m not a coffee or tea drinker, but I’ll certainly tell all my friends about how kind the staff were!“

“It's also another North American diner still thankfully in existence. Large portions, a lot of potatoes and freshly brewed coffee need nothing else.
And best part is it's 24/7.
I only gave it a 4 star not 5 because of its fried stuff. Whoever is in charge of frying is just overdoing it. Form fries to taters everything is just a step away from getting burned.

“Service went above and beyond, especially since we had a reservation for a table of 10 that got lost in the books, they still booked us in on a Redblacks game day. Had us sat down in 10 mins of walking in.

“My husband and I ordered our wedding cake from ThimbleCakes and the whole process was so easy! They were very communicative and even made sure the cake was delivered to our venue with extra care and in a box that was approved by the venue. On top of the incredible communication and delivery, the cake looked and tasted perfect! We're still munching on our cookie dough flavoured wedding cake this week. “I love Paradise Poke and am a pretty regular customer but : the girl who prepared my meal today, which included handling my food directly with her gloved hands, turned around and punched in my order on the screen and then turned over the screen to me for me to complete my purchase so I also touched the screen. That made be uncomfortable. Touching my food and the screen that all of the customers also touch… what’s the point of wearing gloves? The person preparing food should not also be doing the cash.“
