If you're not familiar with these desserts which appear either Middle Eastern or South Asian, make sure you bring your food so you can google the dishes. Out server was unable to explain any of it to us in English. The ice cream was quite good, and watching him make it on the cold slab was entertaining. One cup of rolled used cream was about $9.“

“We wish we had more reasons to hire Merry Dairy’s ice cream truck after hiring them to serve ice cream at our wedding. The truck added such a fun element to the evening, and guests loved the surprise and opportunity to stretch their legs while grabbing their dessert. Merry Dairy was exceptional and super easy to work with. They were flexible, reliable, and the staff serving ice cream was super friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. They had a vegan option, too, which especially our guests with dietary restrictions really appreciated. Their ice cream is delicious! Please do yourselves a favour and eat Merry Dairy ice cream.“
“Salute! This cute little Italian gelato spot is right downtown Ottawa. The woman working was nice and quick! She recommended "all the flavours" so I went with the two caramel options...chocolate and chocolate chip. While my son took the fruit options and went with mango and strawberry in a cone. They were all delicious...the caramel chocolate chip was definitely my favourite. Highly recommend!“
“The place is super cozy, and the ice cream is really engaging to watch be prepared in front of you. Depending on what flavour you get, the texture can be slightly different. I got the tiramisu one, and while I loved the flavour, I felt there was a slight grainy texture, which was likely because of the mix-ins. My mom didn't notice it, though, so it's only an issue if you're particularly texture-sensitive like I am. Otherwise, it wasn't overly sweet, which was definitely a bonus, and the whipped cream and chocolate syrup complimented it well without overshadowing the flavour.The prices are very reasonable for the serving sizes, and they come in convenient paper cups so you can take your ice cream on the go!“

“The ice cream was fabulous & the service excellent. I picked up 7 flavours today during the youth Soccer fest and every one was delicious, and the prefects size. Creamy, flavourful and just the right consistency. We had: Dark Chocolate Espresso, Coffee Crisp, Caramel Latte, Tiger Tail (amazing!!!), Fudge Peanut Butter Cookie, Mint Chocolate Chip & Orange Creamsicle. I plan on going back to try the Stroopwafel next! Might need a brighter road sign, because once other people saw me with ice cream they asked where I got it! Will definitely go back.“
“When you explore downtown Ottawa, Amore Gelato is a very good place to have dome nice ice cream. The service I'd fast and the girl does a great job of treating all the customers well.I had a two-flavour cone with mango and wild cherry. The wild cherry taste was not the best but mango was great.“

“My go to place when meeting up with people for a drink. It's the atmosphere, the variety of foods and drink. Abd hot chocolate is always so rich. I did notice during my latest visit the chilli hot chocolate had more chilli flake in it than I would I have liked. Chilli powder would be a bit easier on the pallet. I did order the cookies, toffee, double chocolate and chocolate chip. I think the toffee was the best. Will always go back to this location and excited to visit new locations!“

“Perfect service, deserves the perfect rating. Had an issue on skip with the courier not even picking it up for an hour and I felt bad for the guy making the order. “Had the lemon/blueberry ice cream at the new Carleton Place location. Simply amazing!! I went back to take some home but they had run out 2 days in a row. Too bad because I live in Mississauga. I have to agree with another review about the waffle cones. They are too thin and crack but otherwise good job!“
