The food is delicious - the donair meat is juicy and cut thick; combined with their donair sauce and veggies, it all comes together to make their deservedly famous pizza and wraps. “Pretty good brunch place! Ordered the eggs benny, the hollandaise sauce was creamy, the poached eggs were cooked well, and the tater tots were tasty. Staff was friendly and it wasn't overly busy on a Sunday afternoon. Brunch is served until 1:30 pm on weekends and happy hour starts at 3 pm. We went for brunch and stayed for the happy hour!“

“LAGO was absolutely outstanding in every way for our wedding day. We got married on November 4, 2023 and it couldn’t have gone more perfect. Gyneya & her team were so great to work with. She was very responsive to emails answering all our questions, helped us walk through the entire timeline and was there on the big day making sure everything ran smooth. The venue went above and beyond to provide lots of gluten free options for the menu (myself and a few guests have gluten allergies). We had all gluten free or d'oeuvres and they altered the sauce for the main dish to accommodate. They even went out of their way to purchase a specific seltzer when I mentioned that was my favourite drink. All the food and drinks were SOOO good. We did minimal decorations because the venue is beautiful on its own. We have had many guests reach out to us post-wedding to compliment the venue, the staff and the food. We are SO happy with our decision to host our wedding at LAGO and would 100% recommend this venue!“
“I really liked this place. The good is priced very well, everything tasted fresh and it was delicious. My only beef with this place is that it's pretty loud, and also the chairs are terrible. You sit down and feel like you're going to fall through it. They move and creak and it's very unnerving.“

“In town from Moncton and we decided to try Bowmans and it did not disappoint. The Bowman burger is a must for the burger lover. My fiancee had the pulled pork and it was amazing. Don't let the size of the pub fool you. The food has huge taste. Will definitely go back the next time we're in Ottawa.“

“This may be a small venue, but it has the biggest heart in the whole damn city. The staff are all so kind and sweet (special shoutout to Tony and Griffin!), it's kept very clean, plus it's extremely safe and welcoming for everyone. They host all kinds of weekly events like drag and comedy, so if you need something to do in downtown Ottawa come here!“

“I love hanging out at McLaren’s, been here at least a dozen times. Great vibes, lots of pool tables and great beer selection. But one of the best things is the staff - the servers and bartenders are always super friendly, skilled multitaskers and always giving great service. I’ll keep coming “

“In the heart of Ottawa you'll find Warehouse in the middle of the Bywad market area. Had such a great dinning experience, service was fast spinach dip amazing. I got recommended this drink from a server and was such a great decision. Defiantly going back soon. A little price but great music and close parking makes it all worth it. “Well worth the drive from West end Ottawa. Ordered a full size turkey dinner for Thanksgiving. Bird was good size well cooked moist & delicious. Came complete with mashed potatoes, vegetables, great home made stuffing as well as homemade cranberry sauce and gravy. Whole meal was excellent. I will certainly order again, maybe Christmas.“

I like the diversity and the cool atmosphere and the very friendly staff specially the two female bartenders, very hardworking and most friendly and respectful, both my friends and of course Roxy, the best DJ. in the world and the cool friendly gent who collects cover charges at the door on most Saturday nights. I go Saturdays and this is a good opportunity for a good dancing exercise and tasteful drinks at great price as it is also a cool friendly place to dance and have fun.“

“Knife & shooting! It was a great experience! Throwing knives was a bit difficult, but it was really cool, and the advantage is that you can shoot different types of guns! The person who gave the information was very kind and explained in great detail, so I enjoyed it comfortably! Please note that there is a bar inside so you can have a drink while shooting ;)“
