“I've been coming here for 8 years. We come for burgers, chicken fingers, nachos and delicious spinach dip but my favourite are the breaded chicken wings. Update: Now obsessed with the steak stacker! Wing night is still Thursday (half price). If you're gluten free there is not much to choose from on the menu. Matt and Tony are fantastic servers. Every time we need a place to meet friends or family we always come here.“

“Conveniently situated in the Lansdowne event area, Milestones is a great option to gather with friends before or after your event.
Without a reservation on a Saturday night, our party of 12 was not turned away, rather we were warmly welcomed and the staff quickly prepared an area for us. It should be noted that this area had already been cleared and prepped for closing, yet this did not deter the staff from pleasantly welcoming us.
We were aksed to be patient due to staffing levels. This wasn't noticed by our party whatsoever. Beverage and meal service was prompt and all staff members were helpful and polite.
I ordered brushettta. It was delicious, generously topped and extremely flavourful. The serving size was spot on for a light meal or a sharing appetizer.
From an establishment perspective, the general vibe is modern and suitable for a casual or formal night out. Furnishings are getting dated with wear visible on most faux leather surfaces.

My original post gave 1 star for poor service a month ago. As I said I like Swiss Chalet food and returned a few weeks later. This visit went smoothly. It was a weekday not a weekend and I used the drive through. The food was delivered to the window promptly and all was in good order. So kudos to the staff that day for a pleasant return. Positive review needed to be made.
ORIGINAL: No issue with the food. I like Swiss Chalet food or I wouldn't buy it.
The take out experience leaves a lot to be desired at this location. I can only assume its because it's chronically understaffed and overwhelmed by the demands of online orders so real live customers at the counter or drive thru are left listening to grass grow and pondering the meaning of life. Very poorly managed.
I went inside and ordered 2 family chalet chicken soups at the takeout. Thats it. I should've been out in 2 mins. I sat on a well worn chair and waited 20 mins and watched a gentleman who ordered 2 chicken dinners AFTER me, receive his order before my 2 lonely soups. The restaurant did not have a lot of dining in customers, take out orders were steady with a number of uber/skip drivers waiting. A few employees were busy behind the scenes putting together uber/skip orders. Clearly they weren't idle. In fact the lady working at the order desk was also responsible for putting them together and running back and forth to the order desk. In-store customers should have priority. They should also be served as the order is placed. Customers in store always seem to be standing and waiting for lengthy periods of time here.
Management needs to increase the staffing levels. They need dedicated staff for takeout /drive thru and separate staff for on-line orders. This is not rocket science its common sense. You cannot expect a smooth operation if you're perpetually short staffed.
A successful restaurant has to make a good impression, not just with good quality food at a reasonable price but with good service so the customer RETURNS. No one expects gourmet food from a chain restaurant but they do expect good service. If someone takes the time to physically go to your restaurant whether its take out or dine in they deserve better service. Do better.“

“Cat with a K at Milestones Restaurant truly made our Valentine's Day dinner a memorable experience. She was a spectacular waitress, attentive, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. She offered great recommendations and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful evening.
Her excellent service truly elevated our dining experience. The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely, and Kat's exceptional service made the evening even more special. We cannot recommend her highly enough - she is amazing at what she does and made us feel like valued guests.

“I work and live in the Neigborhood and I go in most Sundays for breakfast and to watch football . Lexi always knows what I want , and puts on games for us all to enjoy I will continue to go as its a very welcoming enviroment Great Service in the food industry is important , it keeps cutomers returning and satisfied . “Visited Montana's 13th November 2022 with a group of 7 other people. The atmosphere was good, enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and conversation, followed by our server taking our meal order. She was very efficient and ensured all our needs were met. The order took longer than expected to arrive, and when it did, the food was just warm. We explained to the server who was apologetic, the food was heated to our satisfaction, and enjoyed by all. We were visited by the Manager In order to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, following the issue we had experienced. She very kindly told us she was giving us a reduction on the total price as a sign of goodwill, and also provided free dessert for the group. I would say that was an excellent show of hospitality on the part of Montana's, and we will definitely be arranging future visits.“
