The eggplant and yogurt dip is a garlicky revelation. The lentil soup is hearty and comforting. The pita is fresh, tahini tangy. My new go-to shawarma spot.“

I’m also writing this review because they refused to make me a fresh one.The Saj bread was soggy and the cheese was hardened. It was absolutely terrible and they didn’t care!I’m also a vendor at the markets and usually recommend them but I will not be doing that moving forward. Waste of money.“

“BEST FALAFEL IN OTTAWA !!! This restaurant makes fresh hot falafel on the spot once you order. Unlike many other restaurants they just make a bunch and serve them cold. They also have the authentic fresh Arabic bread and the best toppings. Highly recommend their Qudsiya it was extremely rich and creamy just like how it should be. “A good shawarma place for me is one that serves quality ingredients. This restaurant obviously put thought into the sourced ingredients. What makes it a cut above for me is the seasoning. Usually I can drown my shawarma in sauce and just be happy, but here sauce is an option as the seasoning is fantastic on the meats and rice. The brown rice and beef are my favourite. They serve the salad separately and sometimes it’s a bit too vinaigrette for my taste but overall a great shawarma spot.“
“Tried Falafel on Wheels for the first time today. Before my visit here, I thought I truly enjoyed falafels … well, this food truck made me ADORE them even more!!! First of all, Falafel on Wheels definitely takes pride in their AMAZING customer service. The owner/employee today was there to answer our questions and even allow us to have a falafel sampler, how generous and kind!!! The prices were SO reasonable ! And the food ? what can I say : FRESH (everything made to order), authentic, crispy and packed FULL of flavour! This will definitely not be our last time here! Thanks so much for having us today ????“
