“We spent a very enjoyable evening at the Manor Lounge. First we escaped from Death Row. Great fun! Then we had an amazing dinner followed by darts and shuffleboard. There were lots of other cool games there as well. We will definitely have to go back. The new Manor Lounge location is simply packed with atmosphere and fun!“

“I was so pleased that while I stayed in ARC, they have this great restaurant at the hotel!

Thought it was pretty unique how they wpuld give you the bill with a classic book and the menus were vinyl 😍
I haven't seen any restaurants like that downtown and thought that was nice.

“First time I use maple leaf loung. I had a very big expectation, the only thing that disappointed me was the food. Not to mutch choose, only small rap, salade, soup and peices of tukey with any gravy. Very dry. Big comfy chairs, a lot of alcool. Should be great to upgrade and add some longer seats so we can extend the leg. The bathroom and open spaces were clean. On general, i liked it !!!“

“I had a great date night with my spouse, the relaxed, yet intimate atmosphere created a space for us to connect over food and drink. We went because the the craft beer selection was diverse and different from the norm. We were pleasantly surprised that food offerings. We live in Orleans but we will make the effort to come back because we enjoyed ourselves so much our cheeks hurt!“

“Food is pretty alright. My mileage varies for what exactly I like to eat here(you have to follow the seasonal menu). Cocktails are pretty fun - I personally like the ones where they add candy to the mix haha

I think there has only been one time where service was slow, but she luckily put it on the house since I had to go upstairs (I was seated in the basement with my friends) and grab her attention.

Fortunately, the games are pretty well organized and well-kept; I think every game I've played with my friends has had its pieces mostly in tact.
I also enjoyed the video gaming experience; nitpick: the games have no sound. Not a huge dealbreaker(especially since game sound might negatively add to the pub's noise levels) but just something to know.
Washrooms are great - I believe they are mostly gender neutral? Otherwise, they are at least well cleaned.“

“We received a gift card from a family member for $100 USD as a Christmas Present and were excited about enjoying a meal at this restaurant. The gift card was purchased directly from Joey's, not a 3rd party. We went and everything initially about the restaurant was very enjoyable. The food was very good, the service was attentive and we enjoyed our experience until the cheque arrived. When we we presented the gift card (electronically) our server went to speak with a ⁶manager and then returned to inform us that the $100 USD would be honoured in Canadian dollars. $100 USD is worth $144.50 Canadian dollars according to google when checked today. We paid the bill and tipped the service team 22% and left after effectively having $44.50 taken from us and our family member in what felt like to us, theft by conversion. The manager in question did not come to follow up after our expressing our disappointment JOEY's is already a very expensive restaurant. Further, the gift card information indicates that Joey's has US based restaurants. I'm quite sure that Canadian dollar gift cards are not accepted at par in the US. This ruined for us, what was otherwise a positive experience, through what felt like to us, an act of corporate greed and impersonal profiteering. After this experience we will not be back and sadly, I cannot recommend JOEY's as a place for anyone else to dine at. Any company that sells a gift card directly and then fails to deliver full value is patently dishonest, in my opinion.“

“I had a lovely lunch at EVOO with my brother and sister-in-law to celebrate their 47th Wedding Anniversary.

We had some tasty marinated olives to start and we shared a wonderful Avocado and Halloumi salad, flavourful lemon potatoes, and the amazing seafood trio platter. The presentation was great and everything was so fresh and flavourful.

The service was fabulous too with Megan answering questions, helping us determine the right amount and combination of food to order, and assisting my sister-in-law with a wine selection. She also helped us pick some sweet treats to finish our meal with the three of us sharing baklava and a delicious piece of cake (can't remember what it was called).

The restaurant acknowledged the wedding anniversary with a complimentary little bonus for us to celebrate the occasion.

It truly was a lovely lunch, and the three of us agreed we will be back.“
