“We spent a very enjoyable evening at the Manor Lounge. First we escaped from Death Row. Great fun! Then we had an amazing dinner followed by darts and shuffleboard. There were lots of other cool games there as well. We will definitely have to go back. The new Manor Lounge location is simply packed with atmosphere and fun!“

“We received a gift card from a family member for $100 USD as a Christmas Present and were excited about enjoying a meal at this restaurant. The gift card was purchased directly from Joey's, not a 3rd party. We went and everything initially about the restaurant was very enjoyable. The food was very good, the service was attentive and we enjoyed our experience until the cheque arrived. When we we presented the gift card (electronically) our server went to speak with a ⁶manager and then returned to inform us that the $100 USD would be honoured in Canadian dollars. $100 USD is worth $144.50 Canadian dollars according to google when checked today. We paid the bill and tipped the service team 22% and left after effectively having $44.50 taken from us and our family member in what felt like to us, theft by conversion. The manager in question did not come to follow up after our expressing our disappointment JOEY's is already a very expensive restaurant. Further, the gift card information indicates that Joey's has US based restaurants. I'm quite sure that Canadian dollar gift cards are not accepted at par in the US. This ruined for us, what was otherwise a positive experience, through what felt like to us, an act of corporate greed and impersonal profiteering. After this experience we will not be back and sadly, I cannot recommend JOEY's as a place for anyone else to dine at. Any company that sells a gift card directly and then fails to deliver full value is patently dishonest, in my opinion.“

“First time I use maple leaf loung. I had a very big expectation, the only thing that disappointed me was the food. Not to mutch choose, only small rap, salade, soup and peices of tukey with any gravy. Very dry. Big comfy chairs, a lot of alcool. Should be great to upgrade and add some longer seats so we can extend the leg. The bathroom and open spaces were clean. On general, i liked it !!!“

We went because the the craft beer selection was diverse and different from the norm. We were pleasantly surprised that food offerings. “The afternoon tea was amazing, every bite was a ten out of ten as usual. What made the visit extra special though was the absolutely impeccable service we received from David. I’ve dined at nice places all over the world so I can really say this was one of the best service experiences I’ve had. He was so kind and made us feel like VIPs the whole time. He even brought us a personal fan because we were feeling warm. He asked us if we’d like pictures even before we had to ask him. And he was just so exceptionally courteous and made sure we had such a fun time. He addressed me by my name just from the reservation which was so nice. He even surprised me with a little treat for my birthday which was so appreciated. He also let us know they could replace anything we didn’t like on the menu before we started , and made sure to accommodate my almond allergy. Thank you David for making me and my mom so happy today! We’ll be back for Christmas tea :)“
