Above-par, hard workin' staff that still take a moment to chat you up while mixing 4 shakes and managing the take-out counter. Superhuman Service!
Loved my Reuben so much I bought the tshirt in the hopes they'll give me staff rate on my next meal ;) Hearty portions so plenty left to share with a fellow hosteller. 5-Stars, thanks for the comfort food since Winterlude hot chocolates as a kid in the 80s. Best Nostalgia Diner in the City

Amazing diner in Byward Market in Ottawa. The ambience has the retro vibes and they have really cool and witty posters on the walls.
I tried the Zak’s big breakfast and it truly is a big meal. Everything is on point. Tater tots are crispy outside, warm and soft inside. Bacon and sausages are excellent. Eggs are cooked well. Beans add a bit of sweetness to the meal. Very satisfied. This meal made me feel like a king!!
