Amazing overall experience. it started with a new drink they launched tonight. I think it was called mañana - a must try!
The squid was delicious! the tacos were great - my favorite was the pork belly! And the guacamole is always fantastic here! Thank you!!!
Extremely poor customer service. Asked the two of us to move from the table (for 4) we were seated at when the whole restaurant and patio were empty because their “policy” is to leave the tables for parties of 4. There was no line up. Poor excuse for a manager as well, when we asked to speak to him about the situation all he could come up with is “that sucks” no apology whatsoever. The tacos are not worth the crappy restaurant crew.

El Camino (Byward) offers amazing tacos and a fun atmosphere. The tuna tartar taco is one of the best bites, and new menu items like the cheese and mushrooms open face taco is a 10/10. The fish taco is always a classic, and the new beef brisket one is delicious. The pig head is still fantastic, and the barbacoa comes with a consumme. The guacamole is impeccable. Customers note the menu has changed, with the beef taco and papaya salad removed, and the salt and pepper squid is missed. The fish quality has changed, tasting fishy, and some prefer sliced avocado over guacamole. The salsa was extremely bland on one visit. Service is consistently great, with friendly, attentive, and well-informed staff. Cocktails are delicious. The atmosphere is fun, and it can be pleasantly chill on a winter weekend midday. It is a little bit pricey, but the tacos are presented well. It has been a favorite place in the market for years, though some recent changes have made customers reconsider coming back.
