“It was beautiful. There could of been more touches to the food but I love cooking, bbq/smoking my own food. So going out is hard sometimes but I loved this place. So what if you have to get up and order. Little more moving wouldn't hurt you.

The salsas are amazing, the opportunity to have as much salsa as I wanted when I sat down to eat and another time when I ordered out. Mild to hot salsas, even the hot ones aren't too hot which is good for the mild ones out there. Gives you the opportunity to try a little more than what you may be used to.

“I love this place! You can't get better tostadas anywhere in Ottawa. Believe me I tried it all.
Live the cosy, street food vibe. The staff is wonderful.
I do like the chicken or beef tostadas but by far prefer the porc! Get 3 in a box and some homemade hot sauce.“

We were heading to another restaurant a few doors down, but it was closed, we walked in front of the Bonita, and we were completely drawn inside.

Everything was perfect, I'm celiac, I they are super knowledgeable, aware and want for every customer to have the best experience.

Oh, don't miss going through the mocktails menus, telling you, they don't miss a thing.

The first time I went out of my comfort zone, and ordered something I've never tried before, that's how confident I was that this restaurant was perfect. Oh, btw, did the same second time around, and it was as good as the first time.

If you are asking yourself if you should go, stop and go, you'll thank me late.

And the best thing is 99% of the menu is gluten free right down to the delicious deserts! Keep in mind 12-1 is super busy rush for lunch, so you might wait a little bit but it’s worth it!
