“Super good Mexican restaurant! I had the vegan burrito which was super good, especially when added with all the salsas that are available. The owner Rigo was super nice, he made conversation with us and even offered us nachos. I recommend 100%!“
“Our orders mistakenly had some sort of spicy sauce instead of the sour cream we asked for, so we didn't quite enjoy our takeout meal. However, everything else was good, and we'll give it another try (but pay closer attention to what they're putting into our burritos next time!)“
“I’d give more stars if I could. Chantal works tirelessly to bring you delicious, filling, and honestly sinful food and deserts. The tacos and burritos here are so filling, tasty and clearly made with love. The deserts are all scratch made and something you should not pass on! And the best thing is 99% of the menu is gluten free right down to the delicious deserts! Keep in mind 12-1 is super busy rush for lunch, so you might wait a little bit but it’s worth it! Otherwise it’s usually very fast service, great food and she accommodated you to the best of her ability! Fantastic service, fantastic food.“
“firstly I ordered the chimichanga and somewhere along the uber eats line I received a Poke bowl...which is very much not a chimichanga. BUT I reordered and the chimichanga, rice and refried beans are amazing and everything i wanted it to be. I have to thank them for the flan. You're the GOAT!“

“The chicken empanadas was the bomb it was so delicious. I had them taken out man I loved took me forever to find a great Latin restaurant I’m so happy as a Latino this place exist I started to celebrate heritage thx to this place. I can guarantee I’ll be ordering from them again thx you. I am Ottawa food critic this restaurant gets my approval however dining in the place was small but who cares the food is what matters. “Absolutely love the amazing vegan options, and this location has the best service. It’s our go-to lunch in the west end. Their vegan mad cesar and smashed chickpea sammy are to die for. The only bad thing is that they don’t have even more vegan options. I’d love to see the rosemary foccasia back! ❤️“

“i love this place so much. it used to be really close to where i lived but they sadly had to move their location. but they had the best tacos and even better service. while you're waiting for you food they give you samples of food to try. and once i didn't have my card with me and i asked them if i could e-transfer and they were really nice about it. other than the tacos, the chicken tortilla soup has probably got to be my one of my favourites. even when they would give me a sample id still order it cause it's that good. also they have halal options and not just veg, which i love. it's a really good take out place. my only thing is i wish they were open longer and if they had more comfortable seating cause then it wouldn't just be for take out, especially in the summer.“
“Came here as a recommendation for dinner on my first trip to Ottawa. We overall liked the restaurant, staff was friendly & the food was good. On a Sunday night, it was not super busy but there were enough people that it didn’t feel empty inside. A bit pricy but we also got drinks, and most trendy Mexican restaurants are like this these days.To start, I shared guac & chips - no complaints, we enjoyed and it was very fresh. The added tomatoes were nice.I ordered 3 tacos - the beef barbacoa was fine but the portion of dipping jus was tiny for 3 beef tacos. The best taco for me was the tuna tartare crispy taco. Loved the flavours and the fish was just delicious! My friends had the chicken tacos and said they were spicy but they liked them a lot.However, I did not enjoy the ox tongue taco and didn’t finish it. I ordered it because all the reviews about it were so positive, but I didn’t like how they just put two huge pieces of meat in a taco. It tasted very gamey and I didn’t like the spongy texture either.The piña colada cocktail was yummy - I could taste fresh pineapple and it was very creamy.“
“It was really great that the server was so polite and friendly and accommodating when I asked for no pico digiao on my fish tacos. I had a lovey time I do recommend.Dietary restrictions: I couldn't have tomatoes due to medical reasons, and they didn't have any issue with not putting on the pico degio on my fish tacos.“
“A great little gem of a food truck.Food was delicious, reasonably priced, and didn't take too long.I had two tacos - both delicious - with chips and salsa. My spouse had the classic burrito. I don't even like burritos and thought it was great! My daughter had the kid's meal - chicken quesadilla and fries - and it fed her for dinner + two lunches for $10. I agree w/previous reviews that chick q could use a bit more cheese, though.The little patio is clean and well-kept.“

Had an event catered by Mona's Taqueria, we had tacos and fajitas, all ingredients were fresh and protein was so flavorful and absolutely delicious; salsas, guacamole, chips are made in house and totally amazing. “My friend and I went here tonight for the first time. I had Butter chicken tacos,and my friend had Chicken salad, food was delicious. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back. Hopefully they get their liquor licence soon and business picks up,as it’s a great spot for dinner. I would highly recommend it.“
“Great atmosphere, feels like you’re in a cute eatery in Cabo and not a strip mall in Ottawa. Cool vibe. Tasty sangria. Taco options were plentiful… try the avocado taco for something different! Paint night should be offered in a different room, we were there as a group of 5 and there were probably 18 people jammed in together to do paint night in the restaurant, no space to even put the paint down, couldn’t even order a drink! Our group would’ve continued to order drinks for 3 more hours beyond our meal if we had even a small space to put a glass down on the paint table. Couldn’t hear the paint instructor as the restaurant was full of patrons.Vegetarian options: Avocado tacos were great!“
“Though they only have two vegetarian options (the cauliflower asada fries and the cauliflower torta), both are absolutely delicious! The fries here are absolute perfection! Though it's around $20 for a sandwich, the portion is very generous.I would highly recommend making a reservation, especially for weekend evenings. The restaurant has very limited seating, especially for groups larger than 2.“
