He had the burritos and I had the quesabirrias (marinated shredded beef quesadillas). I am gluten-free and to find so much I could chose from.on a menu was great. Both plates were delicious. The decorations in bright colors were delightful. We're definitely going back to try the tacos.“

“We ordered the kids quesadilla meal at BarBurrito Kanata, and it was such a great choice! The quesadilla was warm, cheesy, and just the right size for kids. It also came with chips, salsa, and a water bottle — such a nice touch for a complete meal. My child really enjoyed everything, and the staff were friendly and quick to serve. The place was clean and welcoming too. Definitely recommend this location for families!“

“Food is always great, easy and affordable. Good quality. Only issue is that if you come here any time past 8pm, staff will lock you out and say it's drive through only even if there are clearly people inside. If you fight them in this, they will let you in begrudgingly. Google and the app state that dining is open until 11pm unless that's outdated.“

“Tonight was my first time there. Once I got up the stairs (puff puff 😁) I joined the group I was meeting. There was cold water waiting. In no time at all, we were given food menus followed by the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. I didn’t understand a couple of the food descriptions and our Server, Felix, was quick to explain without me feeling like a dope. I ordered a plate (started with a “B”) because it included three differently tasting items. And, a bottle of white wine. The whole group was pleased with the timely delivery of their meals. Mine was delicious - one hot spicy, one less spicy and one full of flavours. Plus, rice, purple cabbage (!) and beans. Everyone liked their menu choices. The portions were large. We ate, not feeling rushed at all. Felix asked if we’d like to take home what was left on our plates…”yes please” and brought take home boxes. I said “I guess the rest of the wine stays here LOL”. Well, Felix just said “no - I can take care of that for you” and he did ! I came home with second dinner - food & wine ! Kudos to Felix and Casa Mexicana for hiring him. I look forward to eating there again !“

“Recently took a trip to ottawa to visit my nephew and we decided to do some shopping at bayshore mall. I hadn't tried bar burrito in a long time and I was blown away by the flavours and service. I usually dont like spicey food because sometimes my dish ends up being too spicey, but the people behind the counter were very helpful in explaining how spicey each sauce was.“

The seating areas are very comfortable and the washrooms very clean. Salsas are fresh and with spicy options, though not the hottest options around if that's your thing.
