Loved the food and the colorful ambience. I'm not a fan of Mexican food but my boyfriend loves it. I flipped the script and took him out to Casa Mexico in Kanata. He had the burritos and I had the quesabirrias (marinated shredded beef quesadillas). I am gluten-free and to find so much I could chose from.on a menu was great. Both plates were delicious. The decorations in bright colors were delightful. We're definitely going back to try the tacos.

I ordered take out quesadillas not knowing how small their portions are... or how basic is was, saw it was 4.8 stars and though oh my, must be good! , wrong ! quesadillas are soggy wrapped in tin foil to keep the wetness in I guess, the flavorless salsa came with more water, guess they must think I need it for my garden, quesadillas are only cheese and shredded chicken, no spice, no taste, I'm very disappointed and still hungry for real food. the fake Mexican accent girl who took...read full review

Based on the reviews, Casa Mexico Kanata is a delicious, authentic Mexican restaurant with hands down the best tacos in Ottawa. The tacos are great, and the corn is the best ever had. Other popular meals include the burritos, quesabirrias (marinated shredded beef quesadillas), and elote. The food is excellent, high quality, and very reasonably priced. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with colorful decorations, bright colors, and a cute selfie area with Mexican sombreros. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and positive, offering amazing service that is consistently friendly and efficient. Even when busy, the staff stays helpful. The energy, decor, and overall vibe make it a fun place to spend an evening. It is a festive spot with kind staff and a great atmosphere, definitely worth checking out.
