“I like the open kitchen concept, you can see that they keep it clean. Service was excellent. Clearly a family run business, they were very polite and checked in often. Food was good, but nothing extraordinary. They serve halal options. A little pricey. Won’t be rushing to go back.“
“This place is incredible. We got the volcano salmon roll, ace roll, ika and unagi. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Service was super quick and the food tasted so fresh and were packed with flavor! Would highly recommend having a meal here!“
“Was craving some noodle soup in a cold day and found this spot. Got a house salad, side of kimchi and spicy jjangbong. The house salad sesame oil dressing was surprisingly good. The kimchi was solid. The jjangbong was respectable, not the best I've had but decent. I'd probably try something different next time around if I make my way back to ottawa again.“
“Best Jajangmyeon I've ever tasted. Made everything from scratch and you can literally taste the difference. The chicken is great, no surprise there, and the sides like rice cakes and baked goods are good as well. Service is excellent and washroom is very clean (just be careful coming down!)“
“It’s in a great location and they have lots of different tasty options. As a Korean, I recommend trying their hotdog with potatoes with ketchup and sugar! The price is expensive for Korea, but reasonable for Canada.I wish they had more tables!“
“First time here, Panini and soup was unreal. Like everyone else it's a little hard to find. When you go in the lobby your auto instinct is to take the elevators to the right, but no go left and you will see the sign and the stairs right beside. Busy place to do you know it's good.“
“The sushi menu offers a nice variety of rolls, and I must say, their sushi tastes really good. The friendly service adds to the overall positive experience. Though the seats aren't the most comfortable, it's worth the delicious sushi they serve.“
“The BBQ is good, although the portions are a bit small (200g per serving). The side dishes comes with some refills, and are fantastic.Fried rice portions were also sadly, very small for the price, considering how cheap rice is in bulk. However, they do taste great.“
“What a pleasant surprise! We popped into Table SODAM because we were in the area and we were not disappointed! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the quantity and quality was out of this world. The Galbi Jjim was the highlight but the Soy Dak Gang Jung was also so mouthwateringly good. We’ll definitely be coming back!“
“I love Raon Kitchen's kimchi. it's not as salty as the store bought ones and tastes amazing. it's a staple item in my fridge. I've recently tried the gochujang paste and it's also wonderful. Hana's service is outstanding. We're fortunate to have Raon in Ottawa.“
“LOVED everything about this Restaurant on our first trip ! Had the all you can eat lunch ?FOOD was AMAZING but the service and the young girl ( forget name ) was over and above great , she was soo nice !!Very helpful in showing us how they make their tea that my son loves ❤We plan to return very soon !“
“Stopped in for lunch, first time trying the buffet and I was really impressed. A wide variety of dishes, I filled my plate once and covered maybe a third of what was on offer. Everything was delicious, fresh, I'd recommend this to anyone who'd like to try new dishes without committing to a full à la carte order. Friendly service, great lunch, great price, I'll definitely go back.“
“Easily one of my favourite meals in a long time. Both the seafood and kimchi pancakes were perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, the gamjatang was simple but so flavourful, and all of the tea and side dishes were the ideal match for the rest of the food. I am incredibly happy to have visited and will definitely be coming back soon to try some more of the menu.“
“Good prices, family owned, delicious Korean street food! Been coming here for years while in Ottawa and love getting vegetarian food here. My recommendations are the Rideau crisps, yakiudon and udon soup, and the cold noodles in the summer.“
“I went there tonight for a late night meal. Upon arrival, your immediately greeted with big smiles and warm welcomes. The food was amazing. I ordered the bi bim bap, 10/10. The ambiance was also very calm and relaxing. Will be returning! :)“
“Delicious!! We ordered via Uber and it was soooo good despite it being a takeout. We got:chicken cheese : was very crispy. It was good but it was better paired with their mustard sauce on the side.seasoned chicken: was soo flavorful & didn’t need a sauce at all. However, I will say it didn’t have a crunch ( beacuse of delivery) but still delicious. Highly recommend.(Complementary) veg gyoza: arrived hot and very crispy. I would order it next time .“
“I enjoyed my beef noodle soup (#1 on menu chart) at Kim Chi restaurant at the food court of St Laurent shopping centre. It had great taste, service was very friendly and an awesome shopping experience. It feels good going out to malls again after a long period of Covid isolation. If you like my reviews, videos or photos Kim chi the like button“
“At GOGIYA Korean Fried Chicken, nestled conveniently close to our convention center, our craving for Korean fried chicken found its match. Despite its modest size, the restaurant offers a welcoming, snug atmosphere without feeling overcrowded, even on a bustling evening when finding an available table seemed like a lucky break.During our visit, the warmth of the service stood out; the server was engaging, effortlessly fielding our inquiries with grace. Our adventurous appetite led us to select both the spicy chicken and the gold cheese chicken wings - a choice that promised excitement. Admittedly, our anticipation grew as the kitchen, grappling with the evening’s demands, took its time preparing our order. Yet, the wait receded into insignificance once the dishes arrived. Each bite of the chicken, served piping hot and brimming with juiciness, underscored a culinary expertise we couldn’t fault. The flavors were bold, satisfying our craving and then some. The only drawback, albeit a minor one, was the pricing. The balance between cost and portion size tilted slightly more towards the former, making it a point of consideration for future visits. However, the overall quality and experience at GOGIYA left a lasting impression, compelling enough to warrant a return.“
“Absolutely amazing experience. Hanahana is a gem of a small business. I really loved their chicken and rice- I don't even really like rice but this was a perfect pairing with the chicken!, I look forward to trying their sushi on my next visit! I highly recommend trying them out.“
“The service was amazing, polite, kind, and very accommodating. He answered all of our questions and offered to let us taste things before we received a full order of them. Food was flavourful and great quality meats for the BBQ. Only odd thing was there was no music playing. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be coming back“
“I came with my wife and 5 kids to this place for lunch. They had a variety of corn dogs to choose from that came with two special sauces. Also the food they serve is halal, which caters to the Muslim community by having halal options. The chicken and tteokbokki were delicious and great in quantity. Nara and James were really nice and outgoing. We were really happy and satisfied with their overall service. I would highly recommend anyone to come here to enjoy good quality food.“
“Such a cool spot. It's tiny and cute. Staff are friendly and food was delicious. They have various daily specials and a menu that is much larger than you would think a space like this could support. Great Spot, will go again.Dietary restrictions: Limited Selection of Gluten Free options.“
