“Clean excellent lunch spot with tons of flavor. I had spicy chicken with an added egg on top. Wow what a great combo of flavors and just the right amount of heat. I used the extra sauce as the flavor is right amount of sweet, spice and salt. My friend had a side of Kim chi, best we have tasted, and the tuna. Both excellent. The dishes are modestly priced and the atmosphere is clean and modern. I would go again!“

“Ordered the rose mala tteokbokki for takeout and can confidently say it is the best one in Ottawa. The rice cakes are nice and thick. On top of the typical rice and fish cakes, there was an egg, tofu skin, sausage, and glass noodles. I also liked how the base was thicker; lots of other places serve a watered-down version. The spice is legit; lives up to the mala name. Very unassuming place, and great portions, especially for takeout. Pleasantly surprised, and will definitely revisit soon!“

“A great place to go if you are out in the Byward Market area in Ottawa and love sushi!! Lots of delicious options available! I got a sushi platter that had a variety of fish. Very fresh and filling! Quick service and reasonable prices! We will be back the next time we are in Ottawa!“

“Found my new favorite Korean restaurant 😋. We got the lunch all you can eat menu. Amazing side dishes and grilled meat are delicious too. I loved their fried mantu the best. It is bit hot inside the restaurant thought. Bathroom and table was clean too. I am so happy I found this restaurant 😍“

“I have ordered so many times here since I moved to Ottawa I have truly lost count. There are no bad items. They even toss in free snacks every now and then! Such a sweet family and wonderful ladies who run it. Their daily special are such a great deal, and a good way to try different items in their menu.
Their sushi platters are some of the cheapest in the city, and no one can beat their quality. Salmon platter for $25 with 20 pieces is a crazy steal. So good. Their bento boxes are also so packed so thoughtfully.“

“Honestly, this place is a hidden gem. I tried the Golden Mustard Chicken and it was really good. The large portion is huge, and you can tell the chicken is fried fresh when you order it, so it comes out hot and crispy.
Definitely worth trying if you’re in Ottawa and looking for good fried chicken.“

“the food was tasty but I was upset with the kimchi fried rice. it was black due to soy sauce instead of red because of the kimchi. japche was good though“
“I love Raon Kitchen's kimchi. it's not as salty as the store bought ones and tastes amazing. it's a staple item in my fridge. I've recently tried the gochujang paste and it's also wonderful. Hana's service is outstanding. We're fortunate to have Raon in Ottawa.“

“First time here, Panini and soup was unreal. Like everyone else it's a little hard to find. When you go in the lobby your auto instinct is to take the elevators to the right, but no go left and you will see the sign and the stairs right beside. Busy place to do you know it's good.“

“The quality of food is still the same, and my friend and I enjoy very much. It is the service that I have problem with: extensive wait time due to tables are not cleaned and ready, poor management on the floor (yup, the cleaning of the table is part of this problem). The floor staff should prioritize what should be done first and what's next (although there are only two guys on the floor). Changing the large portion of the restaurant to be the all-you-can-eat bbq is a bad move, and the choice is so limited makes me regret the first and only time when me and my girlfriends had the bbq. I hope they can be flexible on yhat.“
