“Very quaint little restaurant. The service is top notch. The Sashimi and Nigiri are extremely delicious and high quality. Unfortunately the non spicy Maki rolls didn't have much taste to them but they were extremely tender.

It is quite expensive however I can tell they use high quality authentic ingredients.

“I like coming here whenever I am in Ottawa. Perfect for a quick lunch or take out. Efficient, pleasant service and tasty food. I like the bentos and rolls but also things like kimchi fried rice and the other Korean dishes.

“V cool little gem tucked in a location that feels industrial. You walk through a large kitchen to a portal made in heaven. Smallish space-could use a little more noise reduction but our food was impeccable and eye catching. Bryan was our waiter-he knows his food and was a perfect guide to an extensive gourmet dinner. “A must stop in at least for the skewers 😋 the mini squid skewer was so good I wanted to get three more orders 😆 anime stuff for sale everywhere its nice to look around while you wait. The ramen was amazing, sushi was decent but the skewers and takoyaki were the best we've eaten!“

We have enjoyed this at Michelin restaurants, and this little gem of a restaurant has a modern, welcoming take on it at a very reasonable price. Fun fact, chef won his first award at just 18 years old, creating the perfect tomago dish. It is part of the experience and along with the melt-in-your-mouth fish selections and delicious accompaniments, a special treat. Service is topnotch, friendly and observant. Well-priced and a great example of approachable, excellent Japanese cuisine.“
