“We made a reservation since the spot is quite small so seating is limited. We got the Wasabi shrimp tempura, friend chicken Ramen and grilled chicken Ramen. The shrimp tempura was amazing. The mango sauce that came with it was delicious. I wanted abit more of the Wasabi flavour in the shrimp tempura but still tastes good. The broth for the Ramen could've been spicier but they do offer chilli oil. The fried chicken was good, no bones. I was not a fan of the grilled chicken though. Overall decent food and the decor inside is dope too.

Parking: Only street parking available and given that it is in little italy, you may have to get into the smaller side streets foe parking.“

“Delicious! I don’t think I’ve had sushi of this caliber outside of Japan. The ingredients are really top notch. It is a little pricy, but you definitely get what you pay for.

My only comment is that I was still a bit hungry after the 2 person Omakase, we ordered an extra roll from the menu and it was perfect.

The service was also top notch - it felt like we were hosted by close friends“

“This place has been my boyfriend and I’s go to spot for a few years. We never get tired of this place! It’s small, cozy and the paintings are super cute. Sometimes they play Studio Ghibli soundtracks and it’s awesome.
The food is amazing, always tastes fresh. They have the best tempura and miso soup, and the citrus roll is to die for. The employees are so nice and have given us food on the house a few times.
Couldn’t recommend this place more!!“

“Good vibes & decor. Service is very good. Food is okay. The rice used for the Salmon dinner was not japanese rice. It was just regular rice (I think it was jasmine rice?). But their sashimi was great! The chirashi did come with japanese rice so it was great. It was a little expensive for the amount of food given as the Kiko house special roll was thinner than what I expected per piece. I would recommend the Chirashi. It was very yummy! Overall a great experience dining in there!“

“Tasty but not too special. Maybe because I’m visiting from Toronto, and the sushi game there is much more competitive. $75 for this tray’s quantity and quality, you can get more in Toronto. Sushi chef’s skills can be more refined - you can see in the picture they are rougher on the edges compared to most sushi places, and each roll was loosely wrapped, kept falling apart on me.

That being said, I enjoyed the taste. We ordered the Favourite 5 Tray. Big boss roll was my husband’s favourite, it has these fried yam flakes on top that was a nice texture in your mouth. My favourite was the Sp salmon roll - I like big chunks of fish in one bite. Oshi always tastes good who doesn’t like torched sushi, but I’ve had more refined versions elsewhere.“

“Food came out quick and we were greeted promptly at the door. It did help that we were the first people there. The tempura, nigiri and tuna rolls were good. So was the salmon roll. Wife got chicken teriyaki and that was delicious carrots were seasoned well. A bit over priced for the entire experience though.“

“Delicious sushi with excellent service! There isn't much seating inside on a busy day but that adds to the atmosphere of the place in my opinion. The vegan sushi is so tasty. If it's a nice day out I recommend taking your meal to Major's Hill Park to fully take in the city.

But the prices are commensurate with what sushi restaurants in the core of Centertown charge. This is NOT your cheap generic all you can eat sushi restaurant. “We dined in this restaurant last week. We came here because of its reputation of fruit wood smoked dishes. We ordered fruit wood smoked chicken, fruit wood smoked pork intestines, and BBQ. The BBQ items were well seasoned and flavored, the fruit wood smoked dishes did have a distinctive flavor and taste, they were good, but not exactly what I had in mind, just didn't meet my expectation. The price was a bit expensive compared to other BBQ restaurants, service was adequate“

“Terrific sushi. Delicious appetizers. I have had all ranges of sushi from cheap student takeout to high end and this place is really great. Quick, traditional style service, they have their own culinary style but quality or atmosphere is not compromised. My husband says it is the best sushi he’s ever had.
