Amazing western style sushi!
Drove from Orleans to pick up an order for dinner gathering. Arrived 5 min early only to find out it would take another 30min because the kitchen’s printer didn’t print our order. They couldn’t cancel it either and I had guests waiting. Pretty disappointing to be honest, the food is great so I’m providing honest feedback here to help improve systems. Please refund my credit card as your server wasn’t able to do so at the restaurant.
The best sushi! Very flavourful, fresh, and good portion sizes.

During busy times, it is common to wait about 30 minutes, particularly on weekdays when the place is full. Portion sizes are generous, with rolls typically containing between 5-8 pieces, and the sushi is presented beautifully, making each dish appealing. The rice is well-seasoned and has the perfect texture, complemented by diverse ingredients that harmonize nicely. Overall, J:Unique Kitchen is considered one of the best sushi places in Ottawa, attracting many who appreciate the fresh, creative sushi and large portions.
