“THE BEST NOODLES I HAVE EVER HAD!!!

I was so happy to stumble upon this shop after a foggy, chilly morning browsing around Parliament and the Canal. Watching the chef craft noodles right before your eyes is second to none, and the broth? Simple. Refreshing and refined. I was stuck between the Chicken or Beef, and was told the Beef was the better choice.

$18 for a bowl and a pop, perfect.

I waited a few minutes, but it was totally worth it for fresh, hand-made noodles, and deliciousness. The bowl is the perfect size so come hungry, with bits of green onion, cilantro, and deliciousness layered throughout. I could barely stop myself from diving in before it cooled. They also offer chili oil for an extra kick, and it was so flavourful I didn't even try to tempt fate with some heat.

The beef was tender and filled with flavour, I DEVOURED this in a short-time, and was so happy to be filled with warmth and good food. If you're after something a bit different while browsing the Byward Market, this is easily a solid stop for lunch or dinner.

They truly make sure you enjoy every part of your experience, from the warm greeting when you walk in to the incredibly delicious sushi rolls. The setting when you first come inside will take you by surprise, however the dining room is so nicely put together that you forget all about it after you walk inside.

“Hands down one of the best all you can eat sushi places I’ve ever tried in Ottawa. The sushi was incredibly fresh, tasted great and came in so much variety. The place was clean and the staff were very kind and helpful. The washrooms are also clean and well maintained. Everything about the experience was amazing, I would definitely recommend this place for all you can eat. Best menu items for me were the maki rolls, the salmon sashimi and the udon noodles. They use papers instead of iPads and a cute robot sometimes delivers the food.“

“It was our first time trying tomo and it completely exceeded our expectations.The quality and freshness of every dish was good. Lots of flavour. The staff took the time to explain each ingredient when we asked and they told us where the fish was sourced from and what made every course special. The cocktails and wine pairing were also very good and service was top tier. Chef Hikaru went out of his way to connect with us using a translator device which let him understand u.
