“I’ve been coming here at least 1-2 times a week, and I can easily say they have the best, most fresh, and most reasonably-priced sushi in Ottawa! The owners are very nice and welcoming, they always greet every customer with a smile. ?I got the platters for a birthday party, which were a hit with the guests.I’ve never seen salmon and tuna this fresh in Ottawa. I usually go for the specialty rolls or tacos. I love the variety of the menu and how filled the tacos are.Highly recommend using their Google form to order since it’s quick, easy to use, and has all the menu items on there.“

“A fantastic dinner with a WOW Factor. Thr Godzilla Bite is a showstopper. Really enjoyed the Big Boss, Yummy Yummy, and the Salmon Oshi. The Fire Dragon was also a cool show but the unagi overpowered the rest of the roll.The plum wine was also a nice experience. “The price is very expensive but it is some of the best quality I had in the city. Tried Osaka roll, tsubaki mushroom, inari, California roll and Ora king salmon rainbow (this was the best!!). The California roll is different, includes tamago too I think. Overall there is a lot of filling and the ratio is super compared to rice. I think it’s a good place for trying their novelties and not for being full but I would come try again. This was $104, shared with 2 people.“

“I went to Festival Japan for lunch for the first time in a number of years. They've redecorated and the decor is gorgeous. The food and service was a wonderful as always. My only critique would be the fact that they no longer serve “standalone” sushi at lunch; that is now only available at dinner. However, the lunch menu offered lots of choice and which included a sushi roll with most of the Bento box options. I will go again, for lunch and dinner, and highly recommend this restaurant. “
“Oh my god this is a gem! I walked in yesterday being really hungry and had no idea about this place. They only do take-out, I told them I only had 10 minutes, they said they could make tempura shrimp rolls in 5 minutes. And they did! Just in front of me. There was a pleasant man and a woman there who were making the rolls. The rolls were so good!!! I will definitely come back and will write about them in my blog.“

“Without hyperbole the best sushi I have ever had in Ottawa or anywhere outside of Japan. Truly excellent. Even when compared to sushi in Japan the quality and care taken to ingredients and presentation stands out. This takeout only place has quickly become a favorite whenever we're feeling like sushi. The price matches the quality and is a gem of the downtown. Hard to go back to AYCE or sushi from other Japanese restaurants after ordering from here.“
