“Stopped in on my way home from work. Got the Salmon and Tuna Poke Bowl. Absolutely delicious. So much food and very fresh. Can’t wait to try other menu items.“

“Great Food and honest too. I left my phone behind hidden under a plate. Well that was a long night waiting for morning to come, but I felt my phone was safe. And sure enough, the next morning, I picked up my phone. Thank you. That was great customer service.“

“Absolutely fantastic all‑you‑can‑eat sushi experience. The sashimi was fresh and generous, the sushi was consistently delicious, and the service was genuinely warm and attentive. What really stood out was how considerate they were about my shellfish allergy — something that’s usually tricky at sushi restaurants. They took it seriously, double‑checked everything, and made me feel completely safe while still enjoying a great meal. Highly recommend for both quality and care.

Plus they have a robot!“

“I'm from Toronto and I was craving takoyaki. I got the poke bowl, takoyaki and 2 pieces spicy salmon. I tried everything right away in the car first then took it home

The takoyaki was what I expected, super yummy.
I think the fish was good. The sushi rice was a lot harder than I'm used to, not as fluffy. Maybe should have a bit more water

The poke bowl, the ingredients were good but it was missing some flavor. I realized there wasn't any spicy mayo.

I'm thinking the food could be made for the demographic since this is decently away from downtown and some my friends like less fluffy rice and the spicy mayo might be too strong for some people.

I would definitely make it optional to add spicy mayo for the poke bowl and tempura bits but I love the texture of them so that's a personal preference“

“Ordered the largest platter (89 pieces? Something like that). Was perfect for five adults and one very small child. Sushi was just as good as the sushi I’m used to from BC (which has been a hard bar to meet in Ottawa…)
Notably, the salmon sashimi was extremely good.“

“I have been to Shinka several times and I keep bringing new people to share this great experience! Their food is incredible and the atmosphere is really neat with the speak-easy feel. Best sushi I've had by far. I especially love the dragon eye and the spicy scallop :)“

“This place is amazing!!!! As soon as I walked in they were so welcoming and made the process of figuring out what to get so simple. I got the spicy california roll and spicy meat roll and they were soooo good!!!! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try quality sushi!!!“

“D'habitude, les sushis d'épicerie sont pas tellement frais mais j'en ai acheté la semaine passée dans un Aki au Métro à Papineauville pour souper parce que j'ai fini tard et... WOW! très frais, riz moelleux à souhait, poissons très frais.... Et que dire des poke bowls 👌😇“

“AlkiSushi is fresh and yummy!“

“이번 가을에 방문예정“

“Good sushi good service. Only thing I didn't like was they limit the amount of type of sushi you order based on what you previously ordered. If you want more of one type of sushi they limit you to 2 of the same. So it's not really all you can eat. Really good sushi.“

“Best sushi ever! So fresh and delicious, perfect seating area that is exclusive to Mac’s Sushi customers if you prefer a quieter private seating area rather than a busier food court!

Amazing selection of rolls+sushi and portions are great too!“

“Service est excellent. Nourriture est fraîche et l’endroit est propre. Je recommande à 💯“

“best sushi in ottawa, highly recommended“

“I could have sworn I left a review after my last visit, but I dont see it.

The rolls here are massive, high quality and delicious. The interior and signage make it look a bit questionable, but I like to assume it's outdated because they put all their money into the quality of their food. Dont judge a book by its cover or a restaurant by its decor!“

“friendly staff and fast service“
