“Visited on Sunday and had a really enjoyable time. We decided to sit outside on the patio, which was a great choice, especially since the outdoor area is dog-friendly. It was a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and it was nice being able to bring our dog along and enjoy the afternoon together.

I had a blonde beer, while my wife tried the blueberry beer. Both were enjoyable, and they had a good selection of beers to choose from, with a nice variety of styles and flavours. It was great to have a few different options rather than the usual limited selection you sometimes find at breweries or pubs.

We also ordered some food, and overall, we were happy with our meals. Everything was good and complemented the beers nicely. The combination of good food, cold beer, and a relaxed patio atmosphere made for a pleasant visit.

There was also live music playing inside, which added to the overall atmosphere. Even though we were sitting outside, we could still enjoy the lively feel of the place without it being overwhelming.

Overall, we had a good experience and enjoyed our Sunday visit. The patio was comfortable, the beer selection was good, the food was enjoyable, and the live music added a nice touch. Being dog-friendly was definitely a bonus for us as well. It’s a nice spot to relax, have a couple of beers, grab something to eat, and spend some time with friends, family, or your four-legged companion. We’d be happy to visit again.”

“Hosted my baby shower here and it was a real hit. Everyone was super impressed with the aesthetic and vibe of the venue. The owner was super accommodating, we were able to bring in our own food and decorate. We did purchase our drinks from the bar and ordered pizzas from the menu but it was nice being able to bring in other snacks and finger foods as well. The staff were all super friendly and professional and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for hosting parties.”

“A huge shout out to Bronco who served us 15 July 2026. Despite being very busy with a huge table on the other side of the restaurant, we really appreciated his stopping by our table to explain that his manager would be taking our meal order and he would be around after he was finished with the huge table. Each time he passed our table he made a point of checking that we were well taken care of. At the end of our visit,we had a few minutes to chat. We will definitely be back next week when he is acting as the evening manager. Bronco definitely knows what service is and we really appreciated his work last night. The food was good and met our expectations. What exceeded our expectations were the buffalo wings which Bronco recommended to us. The buffalo wings were not nearly as spicy as we were anticipating, we would order them again.
The crispy mozzarella sticks were good, not our favourite but they were worth the try. If you have never signed up for LoneStar’s loyalty program, “sizzle rewards”. It is a must. Provides access to free appetizers and more. The rewards program has a points system, that appears to be fair and offers great value ensuring that you don’t leave hungry.

“I’ve eaten at this Wild Wing many times in person, but today I decided to order delivery for the first time. Yeah… that was a mistake. 😂

My food was ready quickly, but then I saw “Uber Eats” and immediately thought, Oh boy… here we go. I generally avoid Uber because I’m not a fan of their delivery service, and unfortunately, my instincts were right. I don't even have an Uber account.

The driver picked up my food and, instead of coming the 4 km straight to my house, apparently decided to take my wings on a tour of Ottawa. She actually drove right past my house, so I texted her asking if she could stop since she was already there. No response.

Instead, I watched her stop at Gabriel’s, Popeyes, Charlie Chan, Pizza Pizza on St. Joseph and several other places. At this point I was hangry and already imagining the cold, soggy wings I was about to receive.

I called Wild Wing asking for a refund and was initially told to contact Uber. Uber told me to contact the restaurant, so I ended up going back and forth between the two. Eventually I spoke with the Wild Wing manager, who is also the owner. He told me this was a first for him and that he’d try to figure it out.

Then somehow it got even crazier.

Uber called me about 15 minutes later and told me the driver was going to be even later because she was stuck in traffic due to a fire. I was basically told my food might not arrive at all.

I called Wild Wing again, and the owner told me he was speaking with Uber and his office to figure out a solution. About 20 minutes later, I got another call from Wild Wing.

The owner offered to remake my entire order and personally deliver it himself.

That was a complete 180. Just 30 minutes earlier I was furious, and now the owner was personally stepping in to make sure I got a fresh meal. Of course I accepted.

By this point, it had been about 90 minutes since I ordered and roughly 70 minutes since the driver picked up my food. The Uber driver eventually called me and apologized, asking me not to file a complaint because she was new and had already had two customers get her written up in the last hour. I felt bad for her and told her not to worry about it.

About 15 minutes later, she finally arrived, and at almost the exact same time, the Wild Wing owner arrived with my freshly remade order.

I thanked him and offered him a large tip to at least cover his gas, but he refused.

At that point, my opinion completely changed.

The Uber delivery was an absolute circus. 😂 But Wild Wing went from being in my bad books to earning my absolute respect. They could have easily said, “That’s Uber’s problem,” and left it at that. Instead, the owner took responsibility, remade my entire order and personally delivered it.

As a business owner myself, I know how much that means. I try to go above and beyond for my own customers, so seeing another business owner do the same genuinely impressed me.

What started with me sitting at home hangry, my kids yelling at me because they were starving, watching my dinner take an epic sightseeing tour of Ottawa, ended with Wild Wing earning a lifetime customer.

I’ll definitely be back, although next time, I’m probably just picking up the wings myself. 😂
