I think about their General Tao at least twice a week ...The service is impeccable and the food is just incredible. I am planning a trip back just so I can stop by and enjoy some of my precious General Tao again.“

“The second we stepped in the restaurant we were welcomed by the flagrant smell of lemongrass and shrimp so we had to order the Tom Kha soup with the spicy hot and sour broth. For second I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken with Vermicelli and my son asked for
Thai Royal noodle with grilled shrimp skewers.
I was pleasantly surprised to get a free spring roll with the soup. The Tom Kha was very nice, just a little spicy but it had a little too much tofu for my like.
The Thai Royal noodle came with rice noodles tossed in basil sauce so it was green and a
healthy choice for the health conscious mind.
We finished our lunch (on Jan 29th. 2025)
with a delicious cheese cake.
For all of this nice lunch in a quiet and pleasant restaurant we payed $52.40…
T-basil in Orleans is an excellent choice for delicious Thai cuisine and there is plenty of free parking spaces.

“Went for a quick lunch with an old friend. It was amazing, the server was extremely kind and even suggested hot and sour pho. Which was the best pho I have had in Ottawa.The atmosphere was great and friendly, my friend and I sat for two hours and didn’t feel rushed at all.I also had pork spring rolls which were delicious.

Dietary restrictions: I did not get it but there was gluten free options on the special board and in menu. I would bring a friend with Celiac disease to try.“

“The waiter was revy kind and had no problems, the pho was amazing, the restaurant was nice and clean when i walked in. I would highly recommend the pho here if you are interested in having some pho, i would give it a solid 5-star rating.

“Ordered take away pho dac biet because I'm fighting a cold and craved some pho. Food arrived neatly packed and individually bagged to avoid spillage. Generous portions of meats (that were also delicious and tender), great toppings and the broth is ridiculously delicious and aromatic. Would order again 100%. Thank you!!!“

They offer tea when you sit down. The owner isn’t very sociable and can seem unfriendly at times but he is hard working and makes good food.“
