“I am absolutely delighted! Pho Bac is unequivocally the finest and most authentic Oriental Cuisine available in Ottawa. Tucked away, it is a hidden treasure that one truly needs to experience firsthand to fully appreciate the centuries of culinary expertise that have been lovingly passed down. The staff is truly exceptional, ensuring you are wonderfully cared for from the moment you arrive until your departure.

We had the pleasure of enjoying the most flavorful Chicken Pad Thai and the Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai we've ever had. Today the chef suggested we also try her specialty Pho Bac Special Pork and Shrimp spring rolls, which were absolutely mind-blowing; the flavor combination was unlike anything I've had before. When I said I could have died and gone to heaven, I was serious!

“Super delicious pho! I ordered the Beef Rice Noodle Soup (#21 – Pho Chin Nam Gan) and the pork spring rolls, and both were excellent. The restaurant was clean, had a nice ambiance, and was surprisingly busy for a Monday evening.

The food was definitely the highlight. Service could have been a bit warmer! Staff seemed quite busy and weren’t particularly engaging
but overall it was a great experience. I’d definitely come back for the food!“

“We stumbled upon this restaurant because we were looking for a quick lunch, and Vietnamese is typically quick. What we didn’t expect was how flavourful it would be!!! This was for certain the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever eaten. I had the beef vermicelli with half salad/half vermicelli and my kiddo had beef pho. The salad part of my vermicelli was so flavourful with tons of fresh mint and cilantro. My kiddo was also blown away and finished every bit of the very large serving of pho. I will make a point of returning every time I am in Ottawa. Oh - and the restaurant was spotless!“

“This is my favourite place in Ottawa, I've been coming here for about 10 years, and it feels like a second home, they have the best rice dishes in Ottawa and custom makes my best friend's vegan meal every time. Unlike some other Chinatown restaurants, Co Cham's space is always very clean, food quality is consistent and it's 100% family owned and ran. It's a true gem in Ottawa and I especially take comfort in coming here after major events in my life. During Christmas holidays it's my version of how a Hallmark movie feels. “Another Vietnamese Restaurant we've visited.
Located on the side street.
It was quiet and the staff were so polite and friendly.
Inside was very spacious and clean.
Food was great and freshly made. Good portion.
I love their chili garlic oil.
One thing concerns me is the parking space, good thing we parked on the other fastfood chain near by and we just walk few blocks away going on this place.

Overall was a good experience if you're craving for good food that makes your belly full and satisfied.

“I cannot say enough how much of a game changer this was for me for a quick but delicious freezer meal. We tried the beef pho, chicken pho and the spring rolls. Everything was delicious! Definitely worth trying if you are on the fence. Both my small kids also devoured it. Big win!

User tip: make sure not to overcook the pho because the noodles can get quite soft. This is entirely user error, but I figured it was worth noting for future buyers!“

“When they first opened, I tried the food and found it tasteless, so I didn’t go back. Recently, I decided to give it another chance, and I was pleasantly surprised — the food was actually really good. We came back today with my family for lunch and we all enjoyed our Pho soup. “If anyone says anything negative about this place I beg you to ignore them. I have a few severe food allergies that I am usually pretty clear on everytime I show up to dine in. Its my own risk for doing this but I can say that most things I tried, including the crispy noodle chow mein, are totally safe for peanut/nut allergies and sea food allergies. Look if youre celiac maybe thinnk of eating somewhere else?? I dont think any asian restaurant in the area is gluten friendly I would skip altogether dont be a bother. The pho is KILLER, better then noodle house down the road, may not have as many options as them but phu yens broth is more then authentic. Even the chinese food is really really good, and again for allergies you never know but be very clear with the staff, Cause I eat here all the time and never had a single reaction, where i went to an indian place not far and that right away gave me a reaction I just ordered a rice dish from the place. Long story short, I love their hot coffee, 5/5 stars for that, crispy chow mein is insane, pho is delicious, their vermicelli and rice/meat dishes tastes fresh everytime, dont expect a 5 star meal here folks but I guarantee what quality they have to offer should blow you away.“

I ordered the spiciest curry on the menu with the added wish "extra spicy," and the kitchen did not disappoint. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, good pricing. During my two hours in the restaurant, a valuable piece of jewellery fell to the floor and I left without it. I contacted the restaurant about it and left my name and address. “We ordered the Tom Yum and the Red Curry Brisket noodle soups. Both show 1 chili indicating spicy. There was a definite difference between the two. The brisket was significantly spicier. That being said, they were both great. Tasty, lots of protein, lots of noodles.“
