“It is very modern compared to all the other restaurants in the area. The menu was very easy to navigate, the restaurant was roomy and clean overall. The service was attentive and helpful. Everything was relatively quick.

The noodle soup dishes and pho were the same as all other restaurant, slightly on the bland side. However, they are very generous with the servings.

The appetizers are actually worth it in my opinion, and the vermicelli and rice dishes are more appealing than others.“

Dining room is everything but fancy and I hope it never change as all that matters is that decadent broth ... Customer service can be hit-or-miss at some Viet-owned businesses in Canada, so it was refreshing to feel genuinely welcomed here. The owner was friendly, happy to chat with my family, and had a relaxed, approachable vibe. They mentioned leaving Vietnam many years ago and never returning - which may explain why the pho noodles lacked a bit of depth - but for me, dining out is about more than just flavour.

Offering a broad menu while keeping flavours strong isn’t easy, so I appreciated that they leaned into other Asian cuisines rather than padding the menu with beginner-friendly food like fries or pasta. The space is small and cozy, and given the location, the pricing feels fair. With Ottawa prices hovering around $16–$20 per dish these days, there’s little to complain about.

If you’re after strong, authentic Vietnamese flavours, this spot may disappoint. But for a relaxed meal with friends or coworkers - especially given the location - it fits the bill.“

“I have been here a few times now and tried the pho and a few rice and noodle dishes. Everything has been A+. The staff clearly knows how to cook Vietnamese the right way. For example, the crispy noodles with beef and veg should be light and not soaked in oil or sauce, and as you can see from the photo they nailed it in both presentation but also taste. Will return.“

I also like their spring rolls . Again always fresh ingredients. Its a fair drive for me but I find it worth it.

“I really like the pho here, tastes great! Ive been coming here with my wife for a few years now and they are always consistent with the flavours ! We came back today with my family for lunch and we all enjoyed our Pho soup. “I'm not sure what most of the recent reviews were talking about when they wrote their reviews. My partner and I travel all around the Ottawa region to new or underappreciated restaurants and leave honest Google reviews. It is clear to see that the owners have taken action with this location and have updated their staff to reflect a restaurant worthy of an honorable mention. My partner and I went to an early dinner and tried multiple different meal options to truly see the capabilities of their chef and of the waiter. To start, I would like to point out how nice it was to eat inside. Though not a modern look, the layout was very welcoming and properly themed. Also, tables and chairs were convenient for people of all sizes and offered indoor and outdoor seating options upon request. As for the service, I would not expect a 5 star service from this establishment, but I was surprised to see how friendly yet professional the staff was during our whole experience. It is clear that the owners take care of their employees, and it shows it the quality of their service as well. Now, for the food, I did not like their pho. There are better places that offer a more flavorful pho with more ingredients. However, their wonton soup have left my partner and I craving for more. It was a perfect balance of vegetables and broth, with perfect bite size wonton seasoned to perfection. They are clearly handmade and were the star of the show. We ordered an appetizer portion to share, but we'll be coming back very soon for meal portions as well. We also ordered their vermicelli (pork, shrimp, and vegetables), which was honestly better than any other location in Ottawa to date. It could have used more pork to balance the perfectly fried vegetables, but times are tough. Lastly, we ordered a seafood sizzle plate to truly test the chef's skills. My hat goes off to the chef since I was pleased to receive perfectly cooked calamari (far from chewy but not raw), and the plate was indeed sizzling! I strongly recommend pairing with some white rice as the sauce is worthy of being eaten as well.“

I ordered the spiciest curry on the menu with the added wish "extra spicy," and the kitchen did not disappoint. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, good pricing. During my two hours in the restaurant, a valuable piece of jewellery fell to the floor and I left without it. I contacted the restaurant about it and left my name and address. A week later the item arrived in my mailbox here on the other side on the country. I was profoundly touched by this act of kindness.
