The food is amazing – think perfectly fluffy idlis, spicy sambar, and crispy dosas with a variety of chutneys. Even when they're slammed, the dishes come out quick, and the staff is on the ball, always making sure you've got what you want. “I popped by this A&W to try an item from their new Brew Bar. I got a small Strawberry Cream Shake ($4.19).The drink is made by a machine and it's fun to watch. The staff just needs to grab a cup and press a button. There's a countdown (count up? Lol) on the screen that tells you what percentage your drink is at (100% means it's done). The drink was good for fast food shakes. It tasted a bit artificial, but that's not surprising. I do like that they use Canadian dairy. Staff here are not as friendly or cheerful as some other locations like the one on Queen St, but they did their job and I was in and out quickly. The inside is bright and clean. They have seating outside as well. This location has a drive thru. It's in the Loblaws Plaza, so lots of free parking.”

I've been to this Mcdonald's before and wasn't impressed and kinda didn't want to go that night. Keyana and Jaiauna was very nice young ladies with great customer service. I ask for my food to be cooked fresh and instead of the attitude I normally get from this Mcdonald's the were so happy to make me happy. Elizabeth took the time just to talk to me while I waited for my order. These three ladies showed me that not all people at Mcdonald's are rude and disrespectful. I didn't get the cook name but thank you as well for delivering fresh tasting food! Elizabeth keep up the great job and continue to treat your staff with respect because you will get your best work out of them.Parking: convenient”

This came as a complete shock to us, as we have always conducted ourselves respectfully during our previous visits.Not only was rude and accusatory, but her assertion about complaints regarding our behavior seemed completely unfounded and fabricated. This experience left us feeling embarrassed and disrespected, tarnishing what was once an enjoyable weekend ritual.As a regular customer, I believe it's important to highlight such experiences in the hope that they can be addressed and improved upon. We shared the dolmades and greek salad as a starter. Both were very good. Suggestions and more info about the mains was required but we found the advice was spot on. My wife had the gnocchi, I had the lamb chops/fries. Both mains were very, very good. The portions were enormous. Overall 5 stars for a great experience and overall value.”

The reason for a four star review is because the price of the poutine and the additional cost to use interac(debit). Otherwise, a great little stop to the day when hunger strikes.Parking: Massive parking lot. If you can not find a space, then something is very wrong.”

“Had the pleasure of visiting this quaint little family owned bakery in Bells Corners. Met the owner and Mel who provided impeccable customer service. Made me feel so welcome and appreciated Mel is quite the asset to this business The bakery is very bright and comfortable. They have a wide variety of cakes. I love pistachios and they had a multi layered pistachio cake, which is one of their signature cakes. Very light and airy and creamy. Many cakes and pastries to choose from.”

“We did a take-out this past week, spending over 140$. I found that their Pad-Si-ew was quite bland. Pad Kee Maow was also bland (for a dish that costs over $23) was a bit disappointing. I am not sure that I would say this was truly authentic Thai cuisine either. The veggie stir-fry was also so-so and costs over $22. These prices were for the dinner menu. I find them overpriced as per quality. I lived in Thailand for a few years and I have been to many restaurants in Toronto, Montreal. Unfortunately, I think Thai Flame is overrated (4.6 out of 5)??? You might still find a dish that you like, but too pricey for what it is.”

They are one of few spots that actually have great poutine in Ottawa that gets me going back every so often.Fries are always crispy and often even ones that have been covered in gravy. The curds are high quality and don’t melt immediately.As others have noted, they don’t heavily salt their poutine fries or gravy, which I actually prefer over extremely salty gravy. The gravy is nice and thick with a rich gooey consistency that prevents fries from immediately becoming soggy. I often ask for extra gravy layered in for a small extra charge, which lets me have abundant gravy for every bite of fry.”

Music by Alex Lopez was very entertaining and fun. The service was top notch, my family and friends raved about how polite and how accommodating they were. Claudia and Georgia where very organized. I brought in 3 cakes to be prepared by putting on the special cake toppers for the finishing touch and serving each patron in a timely fashion, as well as serving extra slices of cake each with sparklers and candles. They took control of the details and told me not to worry. Very professional, my family and friends were very impressed over the service and politeness. I am from Toronto , I did a lot of my arrangements over the phone, they made my job so easy. After the big damaging storm Villa Lucia lost there power like many other people in Ottawa and surrounding area. I thought I was going to have to cancel, they lost all there food in there fridge and freezer. In a day and a half they recovered and the party was on. Even when they're slammed, the dishes come out quick, and the staff is on the ball, always making sure you've got what you want. The highlight for us besides the food of course was when the chef popped out to check if we were enjoying everything.
