“S&S poutines never fail to impress! They are one of few spots that actually have great poutine in Ottawa that gets me going back every so often.Fries are always crispy and often even ones that have been covered in gravy. The curds are high quality and don’t melt immediately.As others have noted, they don’t heavily salt their poutine fries or gravy, which I actually prefer over extremely salty gravy. The gravy is nice and thick with a rich gooey consistency that prevents fries from immediately becoming soggy. I often ask for extra gravy layered in for a small extra charge, which lets me have abundant gravy for every bite of fry.“
“Everything was excellent. We came for my son’s birthday and they made him feel so special. The servers were very attentive, the food was great, and we really enjoyed our visit. We’ll be back to this location for sure. It was a nice atmosphere.“
“I love the food here. Incredibly fast service at 5pm on a Saturday. Justine was our server and she was fantastic. She was very friendly, always there when we needed a refill or more bread. The owner is an incredibly kind man as well. He greeted us at the door with a big smile. After clarifying our servers name with him for this review he gave us a $10 food voucher for a free dessert. “I have a trillion allergies/food sensitivities, which makes eating out very difficult. I never know what's in my food, and even with the allergen guide, there are still some obscure ingredients that can slip through and leave me feeling less than 100%.This has never been an issue with Denny's. They use fresh, authentic ingredients and are more than willing to work with their customers to ensure a positive dining experience. As soon as I mention that I have allergies, the manager comes out to personally ensure that every precaution is taken during the preparation and serving of my food.Denny's makes it easy to feel comfortable and safe about my dining experience!“
“Ended up at Mort's by random choice of after-work pub with a friend. I was pleasantly surprised. If there was a 4.5-star option, that's what I would give it.A friend and I randomly chose to try out Mort's on a Tuesday. We had their 2-for-1 large pizzas with 4 beers. It came out to $40 each, so I'm not sure it was the best deal, but the pizzas were surprisingly good. Was it the best I've ever had? No. But much better than any other bar pizza I've had, hands down.The bartender / server was friendly and since the place only holds a couple dozen people the service was quick. It seems like a good business to support .. it's nice to see places like this that aren't just another chain or trying to be like every other Milestones, Barley Mow, etc.Would go back !Parking: Small parking lot beside Mort's, large parking lot at the next driveway leading behind the pub.“
“I went to the Brew Table with my husband for dinner for the second night in a row. Our server Verenique was amazing and gave us a warm welcome back. Going with her recommendations, we ended up eating two of the best meals we have had at a restaurant. We highly recommend The Brew Table to anyone who finds themselves in the Ottawa region. Thank you for a lovely meal and evening. We will definitely be back another night to sample their sweet deserts.“
“Regular spot for Birthdays.. This time around, Food was great. However, I find the water didn't pay us much attention, I had to be asking for stuff.. that normally was given to us.. Fork and crackers for crab.. and not even check on us to see if we wanted an extra drinks..“
“Ordered takeout for the first time last night. I got home to find a very limp looking Greek salad with no feta, but that’s the only bad part of this experience.These guys make the food fresh to order. You can easily tell just by how absolutely delicious the fried chicken chunks and French fries were.I did call about the salad this morning, to which the manager offered his apologies. He then offered that I could go in at anytime and order a new one for no charge.Huge shoutout to Ibrahim, for making my new salad and ensuring I was more than happy with it before I left the building.Dietary restrictions: Halal“

The store was spotlessly clean, which added to the inviting atmosphere. As for the food, it was absolutely awesome; delicious burgers made just the way I like them. “I've been coming to Chances "R" ever since it was part of the Shoppers City West Mall back in the 70s When the plaza was revitalized to College Square back in the late 90s I was happy that the restaurant remained. A couple of days ago I brought my son there for breakfast at around 11:00. The place was packed yet we were seated almost immediately. We ordered the Hartey Man's breakfast. Boy! We weren't disappointed. The waitress was friendly and cheerful. The plates were brought to us piping hot. And the smell of the bacon just captivated you. The hash browns are to die for. I wish I had their recipe. My 19 year old couldn't finish his so he asked for a take out container. And the price is more than competitive. A couple of days prior we had breakfast at Allo Mon Coco down a couple of steps away. I had a what they call a mighty breakfast. Two of each; eggs, cold bacon, hash browns soaked in days old oil, a crepe you could use as a discus, cold coffee and hard rock toast; for $23.00. My son had hot chocolate: $5.25 and the Poutine Philly: was $21.00. Needless to say it was my first and last visit there. But Chances "R" is my go to place for a hardy, delicious and affordable breakfast. I'm anxious to try their lunch and dinner menus.“
