“My family and I have been ordering here since I've been a teenager, almost as long as they have been open. I really do enjoy their pizza. The main reason my score isn't perfect is due to inconsistency in not just the product, but also the orders on occasion (which is the main reason I'm doing a google review for the first time). There are times you'll order from Merivale Pizza and you'll get exactly what you ask for and it will be cooked perfectly, and then there are some times you'll order where it seems like the pizza may have been in the oven for a minute or so too long.When the pizza is cooked perfectly it's great, hands down my preferred pizza place on Merivale. The problem is that for as long as I've ordered from here, it's never been 100% consistent with the quality of the pizza and over the very recent years, some of my orders have actually been mistakes (not many, but definitely more than a few), I'm doing this review because today I received another mistake (and yet I still wanted to give them at least 4 stars because I do love their pizza). They are good at resolving mistakes and in my experience, they have offered to send a completely new pizza to remedy a mistake, or offer credit towards my next order but it would be great if my orders were always guaranteed to be great quality and correct when I order them.TL;DR: The pizza is amazing, when it's cooked right. I'll always order here when I want something with good portion and good quality, but that quality isn't always guaranteed.“
“Ordered takeout for the first time last night. I got home to find a very limp looking Greek salad with no feta, but that’s the only bad part of this experience.These guys make the food fresh to order. You can easily tell just by how absolutely delicious the fried chicken chunks and French fries were.I did call about the salad this morning, to which the manager offered his apologies. He then offered that I could go in at anytime and order a new one for no charge.Huge shoutout to Ibrahim, for making my new salad and ensuring I was more than happy with it before I left the building.Dietary restrictions: Halal“
“2 Medium pizzas(pepperoni lover's and grilled chicken rustico), cheesy pull apart bread, 16 chicken bites, cinnabons and 3 dippings sauces for $65... a fair price.The pepperoni lover's pizza was good, I find the pan crust to be too thick but my partner enjoys it more than the handmade crust.The grilled chicken rustico was really good, I recommend it with the handmade crust or even thin crust would be good, I'm guessing.Chicken bites were really good, they have many options to choice from. We went with salt and pepper and garlic parmesan both very delicious.The pull apart bread was really good too. I was expecting it to be heavy but it wasn't. Quite enjoyable.The cinnabons missed the mark. You can barely taste the cinnamon. The icing appears to be made with powder sugar, there wasn't much flavour. Can't recommend.“
“I love eating here! I usually grab a burger combo for lunch if i'm feeling a bit lazy- Super crispy fries and pretty good portions as well. I've had the pizza too! It's tangy and good and doesn't have that overly doughy feeling a lot of Ottawa pizza has. The ladies here are very friendly; Absolutely give their food a try!“
