“I had the pleasure of eating at their second location this evening.(carling ave.) ordered take out. My incredible experience started from the second I walked into this place. Not only is it clean and renovated very nicely, the customer service was incredible. unfortunately I'm not the best with remembering names, however the young lady that helped me was just amazing. The cooks were also great and very friendly. The food was absolutely amazing! The chef whos name begins with a J...was on point. I ordered the sausage pie. The dough on this pie was fresh, savory and left me wanting more and more..Every ingredient just went well with the other.( wishing I ordered more😋) The daily soup was also Fantastic 😋. I highly recommend this place and will certainly be back. Being in the food industry myself and being a cook/chef for 15 years of my life, this was a very pleasant surprise and its just down the road. 👏 Great job to everyone there and look forward to seeing you in my next visit. support local 😇“

“Browns is a great spot for a meal before attending downtown events in the area. Service is good, helpful and timely. The menu has lots of yummy options and they can cater to a variety of dietary needs and preferences. The potato crusted cod with cowboy salad is a very enjoyable and satisfying meal.“

The lamb chops were perfectly grilled, tender, and full of flavor. You can immediately taste the quality of the meat and the care put into the seasoning. The saffron basmati rice was aromatic, fluffy, and cooked just right. Exactly how Persian rice should be.
The plate was generous and beautifully balanced with fresh salad and grilled tomato, which completed the meal perfectly. Every bite felt authentic and comforting, like real home style Persian cuisine done at a professional level.

“As a vegetarian of over twenty years, I’ve had my fair share of falafels — and this little place might just serve the best I’ve ever tasted! Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, tender inside, with outstanding hummus and bright, tangy pickled vegetables. Absolutely delicious!“

“Been living in Westboro for a few years and we wanted to try this new place that our neighbours told us about. What a lovely atmosphere! The service is very friendly, and they were accomodating for us to send one of their employees outside to our car to give us the pizza!! And the food is delicious!! We ordered a large pizza and the club sandwich and it was served with fries and a delicious salad on the side. Great stuff. Can't wait to come here in the summer!!“

“We were going to a concert at a nearby venue which had closed its kitchen to set up for the music, nuking our pre-show dinner plans. A nearby pub was packed so not an option, but we saw the sign for O'Town Pizza and figured it was better than nothing. We followed the signs through an industrial area and arrived at O'Town's store front. Our initial impression was not great, but we needed to eat.

The shop is best described as somewhere a literal hole in the wall and a ghost kitchen. There is a small order desk with a couch and a couple of chairs so I suppose you could eat in. The decor is industrial cinder block with a touch of Continental Indian scattered about and the whole place looks a little worn but clean.

The menu has all your basic pizzas, burgers and poutines, and a good selection of Indian specialty pizzas and appetizers. We thought it best to lean into the Indian and ordered the Shahi Paneer Pizza and a couple of mango lassis. There was going to be a bit of a wait since the pizza guy was out doing a delivery, so they comped us a couple of Rabri Kulfi ice cream sticks which were tasty.

While we waited for our pizza, another couple came in who were going to the same concert, and had the same dinner problem. They ordered some samosas and told us later that they were excellent.

The lassis came out first and they were really good, very mango and creamy, not too sweet and they went down quickly. The pizza, what can I say that won't sound like paid review? This isn't I promise you! The pizza was superb, thin crispy crust lots of coriander, green pepper and paneer, covered but not drowned in cheese. The sauce was flavourful without being overpowering. I'm a white guy who can handle spice but the sauce was nicely balanced, just a little bite and a ton of flavour. Over all an unusual approach to pizza but perfect in execution. One of the best I have had in a very long time. We scarfed down quite a bit before the concert and took the rest home. I just had some for lunch, and it's almost better reheated, almost.

Don't be deceived by outward appearances, O'Town Pizza is a real gem in Ottawa. My only regret is they are a little too far away to order regularly.“

“I do like it very good but sadly it's changed I hope they truly listen to this advice stick to the way it used to be made 6 years ago or so. it was so big awesome but not as so anymore more. I even had a lasagna not long ago sorry it was not as big as it used to be I remember wow being so big they lived up to there name the owner before was the best, I know there two that were owners sadly one is gone but he was the best at making the food there everything was so big great price now it's not much different than most places so I don't mind going to Gabriel or willys few other places I hope super duper goes back to the original style this is no means of saying bad its just asking them to look back and do that again.“

Placed my order through their app in order to get the special pricing and was able to pick up my pizza with barely any wait. “Good food, small space and big heart! Social Thai serves good food in a small space run by the nicest people. Don't judge the place from the outside. It is tiny with just a few tables. Venture inside for good food. We started with veggie and shrimp eggrolls, crispy and tasty. We had curry for the main course. Spicyness was subtle and potent but not overwhelming. We finished our meals with some delicious pistachio and chocolate pastries. If space and surroundings matter to you, try their take out.
