“Tried the new yorker and steak and cheese subs. Both were really good. Bread was nice and soft. All fresh. Way way better than subway. Honestly you get what you pay for. I think the steak one could use a little more seasoning.. thats all! Recommended.“
“As most everyone knows, Firehouse subs are great. Great taste, lots of varieties to choose from, and good value
On my last visit, we did something different, plus we ordered something new. First, my wife and I were going to order a sub midday, but only eat it for dinner that evening. The staff were very helpful in preparing our sub and explaining how we should complete the preparation when we were ready
Second, I also ordered a Captain's Club for our son who was yet to leave for work. He enjoys spicy meals, so I assumed that he would enjoy this offering
He in fact did enjoy it and highly recommends it
For him, the spiciness was still relatively mild and easy to enjoy. However, when my wife (who has more tolerance for spicy food than I do) took a small taste, she was quickly reaching for the yogurt
So, if you are borderline on spicy foods, be very cautious if you try the Captain's Club“
