“Excellent - healthy vegan food, served in a friendly, clean and relaxing environment. Knowledgeable staff can help navigate the long menu, or remember your “usual”! Open kitchen so you can see exactly what you are getting. Filling portion sizes, reasonably priced given the high quality consistently delivered. Dining in, I’ve never waited more than a few minutes for my order - even when the staff are busy. One of my go-to places, as it’s always a great place to do some writing or meet with (even non-vegan) friends.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating e.g. I can eat vegan grains-free no problem.Parking: Always plenty of space nearby the front of the restaurant.“
“The tea itself looks great, but the taste doesn't quite reach the same level. Overall, the tea looks like a 5 and tastes about 3.5. Service is friendly and helpful. The location is quite small, so don't expect seating, at most about 8 if empty. Sip tea offers a 1 liter option in "bucket" size, which is the largest size I have seen in the NCR.“

“Tried Falafel on Wheels for the first time today. Before my visit here, I thought I truly enjoyed falafels … well, this food truck made me ADORE them even more!!! First of all, Falafel on Wheels definitely takes pride in their AMAZING customer service. The owner/employee today was there to answer our questions and even allow us to have a falafel sampler, how generous and kind!!! The prices were SO reasonable ! And the food ? what can I say : FRESH (everything made to order), authentic, crispy and packed FULL of flavour! This will definitely not be our last time here! Thanks so much for having us today ????“
“Salute! This cute little Italian gelato spot is right downtown Ottawa. The woman working was nice and quick! She recommended "all the flavours" so I went with the two caramel options...chocolate and chocolate chip. While my son took the fruit options and went with mango and strawberry in a cone. They were all delicious...the caramel chocolate chip was definitely my favourite. Highly recommend!“
“This little ice cream place is a total gem in the heart of Centretown. I totally love their Raspberry dipbars, coffee/brownie sandwich and of course, the Robin egg spring dipbar! The service is always lovely and welcoming. Plus, they are living wage certified!I slowly and surely became a regular. ?Dietary restrictions: Many vegan options!“
“Trying the pastry from BeaverTails was one of the things from my to-do list in Ottawa. As I heard a lot of positive reviews from my friends, I wanted to try this for sure when I am in the town and Im happy that I tried. The fried pastry was crunchy on the outside and soft from inside. I ordered the BroWownie flavor as I am a brownie fan. The white chocolate made it sweeter in the end but I wouldn’t mind because I am a person of sweet tooth. My husband and I shared and it was one of the delicious dessert I had in Ottawa. Its very easily accessible to the people strolling in the Byward market and it was served warm - thats my favorite part. The person working had a smile on his face and it felt very comfortable. I would visit this place if I visit Ottawa again.“
“Deliciously creative beers & high quality + affordable charcuterie spreads. Friendly, bilingual staff and an incredible atmosphere, from the aesthetic of the couches, chairs and tables, to the Super Nintendo for guests to play while enjoying a beer, the hipster playlists and live music. This is one of my new favourite breweries in the Ottawa area.“
“First time I went to this place the food was amazing and the staff was amazing can't wait until I am back in Gatineau to go to this place again for supperDietary restrictions: My neice has severe egg allergies and the waitress was always asking the kitchen staff what had eega and witch didn't and they made sure we didn't have anything with eggs in it amazing service“
“Have been on the hunt for some quality poutine in Ottawa and I've found it! Love in every bite. Premium poutines big enough for two people even with big appetites. Wham burger, deep fried pickles, etc you can't go wrong here. Service is slow (but with a smile)but the food is definitely worth the wait!“
