What really stood out to me was how fresh everything was. The avocado was such high-quality, something hard come by in Sudbury. “We made an order for Valentine’s day and unfortunately the driver chose to take another order before ours so the food came an hour late. It's always fresh and great variety ( not just sad tuna or salmon rolls). Kids love the bubble teas, the hot pots are amazing. Plum wine and cocktails are also worth mentioning. Staff attentive and friendly - always ready to explain things, let the kids dress up in kimonos.“

“Delicious little Japanese restaurant. Lots of variety besides sushi and daily specials. Busy at lunch time and minimal seating. Staff were very friendly and curteous. Clean restaurant. I had the Wes special salmon pike bowl, my companions had the vegetarian lunch and the mixed sushi lunch. We also shared the spicy tuna roll. All were delicious and well priced. I will be back!!“

The setting when you first come inside will take you by surprise, however the dining room is so nicely put together that you forget all about it after you walk inside.

Joel, the manager, is always pleasant and easy to talk to, and all of the staff we have ever had have been kind.

“It was our first time trying tomo and it completely exceeded our expectations.The quality and freshness of every dish was good. Lots of flavour. The staff took the time to explain each ingredient when we asked and they told us where the fish was sourced from and what made every course special. The cocktails and wine pairing were also very good and service was top tier. Chef Hikaru went out of his way to connect with us using a translator device which let him understand u. He made us feel welcomed and completely part of the experience. 10/10 will be back!“

“Classic sushi experience - good fish portions + fish that tastes amazing and mouthfeel is smooth and silky. The salmon sushi pizza is very nice -- the crispy rice sometimes can be too fried, but there were otherwise lots of delicious toppings

The service can be mixed. Overall they seem very friendly; one time I accidentally visited the establishment when they weren't open yet (about 1 hour early, I believe), and they let me dine in. Very thankful(They also gave me ice when I refilled my water bottle)

Other times, they forget to greet/check in on guests, so service can improve.
Wait times vary from being decent to being very long; understandably the staff is not big, but if you are very hungry, you might steer elsewhere.
Barring all that, the food is amazing. If you can eat here please do so 🙏“

Sushi and gyoza and chicken all very tasty.
I would say it's worth a try for a different and creative take of sushi experience.

A bit on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. I also ended up ordering too much for 3 people, but we aren't heavy eaters. Service was good, especially the two gentlemen, and they were both helpful and attentive.

The parking signs outside gave wrong information, and I wish the staff would be a bit more informative about it. But that's a nitpick.“

I've been going there for years and many times per month, but since 2 years I went only 3 times, at best. I always take Yakisoba duo with chicken and beef with extra shrimp. For the longest time, my extra was ACTUALLY an extra, but now since the new guy is there, if I take an extra shrimp, he gives me a lot less chicken and beef... Like if I pay for an extra, it is to get a freaking extra, not to get less of other stuff!!! Damn it frustrate me. I went there religiously before because I love it so much.“
