“I often time visit this small sushi shop since I live nearby and have had nothing but great experiences. The food is delicious, especially their crispy spicy crab and the miso soup, I’d also recommend the miso soup as an appetizer and also the staff is lovely. Worth a visit if you’re in the area or even if you’re not. 5 stars“

“The foods are made highly in quality. The spices used in the meats were traditional and distinctly East Asian, which I really enjoyed. At many other restaurants, they tend to avoid using these kinds of spices, perhaps because they may not appeal to non-Asian tastes. But personally, I found them absolutely delicious. That said, for someone who is used to the authentic, local flavors of these dishes, the seasoning might be a little overpowering.“

“I dont usually give praise.. however I wanted to tell you guys about the experience I had with Maki sushi. Something happen to our order and David is a lowkey superhero. He defused the situation and provided a solution and covered 100% of their most expensive platter. I have not seen such amazing customer service in my life, let alone the sushi being pretty good and reasonable priced. One negative I would add was I wish there were more selection though. However tuna and salmon are my fav and that was fully on their menu

“We made an order for Valentine’s day and unfortunately the driver chose to take another order before ours so the food came an hour late. However the food is amazing and service wise there wasnt much they could change about the situation except they gave us free cheese and chocolate cakes ! 🤓Thank you ! I was still happy once we finally received our food its the best sushi I’ve had in Ottawa. We’ve ordered before where it was fast just note the orders are delivered by dash drivers so on a busy day mistakes can happen.“

“Sushi was very fresh and tasty. A bit pricey for the size of the smaller rolls but delicious nonetheless. They were generous with the pickled ginger and soya sauce. Service was friendly. Staff made some suggestions and gave me a sheet that explained what was inside the different types of rolls. I enjoyed them all.“
