I was going to give this place 4 stars because the location is a nightmare. You have to walk through downtown market zombie land just to reach the front door. I’m out here dodging the walking dead just trying to get to a dinner reservation. But then I thought, why punish the restaurant for municipal decay? Is it their fault society is collapsing outside the window? I suppose not. 5 stars it is.

It’s so great to have an omakase experience in Ottawa. I loved the selected fish and how everything was explained. They accommodated my friend who could not eat too much rice so after she reached her limit, they made sashimi for her instead of nigiri. Everything was so fresh and well prepared. The drinks were great. The service was excellent. I look forward to coming back.
Melt in your mouth sushi, comparable to what I had in Japan. Would definitely return here.
