“I wish I lived closer, it’s my favourite Chinese take out within the greater Ottawa and Ottawa in general. My family and I drive out on special occasions like Christmas Eve and today - Father’s Day. The shredded beef chow mein has been my fave since I was a teen and my parents would order it every Christmas Eve. I’m 42 now lol.”

“If I could give 6 stars I would. The food was amazing. I wasn’t sure what to get but the owner gave me his personal picks and he knew what he was talking about. He advised me to try the smash burger and loaded fries (his favourites). And during the whole thing his attitude and personality was above and beyond. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does. And has talent in it!”

“We tried Sona the Indian Kitchen on a recommendation. We were hungry mid afternoon and our go-to for Indian cuisine was not yet open and Sona was. WE ARE SO HAPPY with our experience ❤️ the food was amazing and the service was gracious. They have definitely gained us as repeat customers.”

“We went in on whim for brunch after seeing some good reviews and wow. The food was outstanding, which we could tell when we walked in because the restaurant smelled amazing. And It was nicely traditionally decorated and everything was neat and clean. The waiter was very friendly, and the menu was big but clear. We ordered: Kaak (traditional bread - kinda like a much better pita), the halloumi, shakshouka, a meat and cheese pie (large), and a dip I can’t recall the name of but it was made with roasted red peppers, pomegranate molasses and walnuts and was very nicely presented with some nice olive oil in the middle of the bowl of dip. I also had the minted lemonade. All came out together for a delicious feast. The service was attentive but subtle. And when I went up to pay, everyone in the kitchen seemed happy and were having a good time and the lady at the cash was also very sweet. Seems like a family run operation. 100% will be back soon.”

“There used to be a pho place in Toronto that I loved until it closed down 7 years ago. Since then, I could not find a pho place that I liked... until today. You can really taste the care Mama Mai puts into its dishes. The pho broth is very clear, and flavorful, without being too salty. Their fish sauce is the perfect combination of sweet and sour, with pickled cabbage and carrots in side it for an extra special touch. Their coconut coffee is a delicious refreshing treat, with a perfect balance of creaminess to that signature strong viet coffee. I am happy to add Mama Mai to my regular rotation of restaurants when ever I visit Ottawa.”

“Dropped in for the first time the other day on a whim and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. Ordered a Chicago Benedict and a buffalo chicken wrap. Both items came out in record time and as I’m 6 months pregnant, that was amazing. My buffalo chicken wrap came out without the “buffalo” at first and *Yusuf was quick to remedy. His service was impeccable. The fries it came with were also so good. We will be back.”

“Visited Montana's 13th November 2022 with a group of 7 other people. The atmosphere was good, enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and conversation, followed by our server taking our meal order. She was very efficient and ensured all our needs were met. The order took longer than expected to arrive, and when it did, the food was just warm. We explained to the server who was apologetic, the food was heated to our satisfaction, and enjoyed by all. We were visited by the Manager In order to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, following the issue we had experienced. She very kindly told us she was giving us a reduction on the total price as a sign of goodwill, and also provided free dessert for the group. I would say that was an excellent show of hospitality on the part of Montana's, and we will definitely be arranging future visits.”
