“Great Napoli pizza! Amazing service! I want to make one or two suggestions. There is too much stuff on the pizza’s ? I know 20-25 bucks for a pizza is a lot for Canadians and they need bang for their buck, I suggest making the crust handle thinner and stretch it out bigger and put half the toppings on, it will cook the undercrust better and look like more!!! Also use a mandolin to cut all the veg paper thin! Cooks super fast with the crust! Saw this in Rome is quite a few places ?”

“Almost forgot about this little gem when we were out for breakfast. We were a bit late for breakfast so had lunch early. Delicious quiche and homemade soup or a very fresh salad. We followed with one of the lightest most delicious lemon pies ever cooked. It’s worth the trip, trust me. They have quite a few fresh baked muffins and squares too for dessert. It is run by senior volunteers for charity, they are very friendly and the place is spotless. Maybe a little difficult to access in a wheelchair but I did notice one person in a wheelchair and she was help by companions and staff. Probably not good for small children as it’s a small place so there’s no running around or high chairs that I saw. $38 tax in for two for lunch with dessert is hard to beat. Not licensed”

“BEST BURGER AWARD! We have come here a few times now this summer and every time we are BLOWN AWAY by the burgers. The size, flavour and juiciness of them--so delicious! We love making burgers at home and I swear my husband moonlights as a Chef but we both can't stop commenting on how amazing Fry2Go makes their burgers.We love bringing our toddlers here too, they can run around on the grassy area and sit at the picnic benches to eat. The staff is friendly and their fries are also so good.Highly recommend!!”

I eyed these scones at the 692 cafe for many months before finally trying one, and they really are the best scones ever. The scones are decadent and full of flavour. Lyn is so sweet, and makes the scones with love and a prayer.”

As a non-indian person I am often overwhelmed and confused by the menu at indian restaurants but our server explained everything so well and helped us all pick dishes that were unbelievably delicious. “We ate at Hunter’ last Friday. As usual the food is excellent, every one in our party loved it. I ordered ratatouille. Great dissatisfaction, and I was disappointed. I was not served ratatouille…. But a kind of baked casserole , which was hot and tasty but nothing like ratatouille. Ratatouille is a dish from Provence. It is a vegetable stew consisting of onions, tomatoes, aubergine, courgette and peppers. Lots of basil and herbs to give it the aroma of Southern France. No leftovers of smashed potatoes which filled up the bowl that I was served. Go to France to taste it but keep on going to Hunter’s for poutine and please serve all your smashed potatoes. Don’t keep them for ratatouille.”

“Amazing restaurant with really great, fresh and tasty food. The decor was wonderful and Ahmed went out of his way to make sure my friends and I were given great service. They ran out of what we wanted and he ended up making it fresh and even accommodated requests at the last second and continuously checked in on us as the night went on. “Made my boss take me here for lunch based off the reviews. I had the omelet with steak and cheese since I missed breakfast then got the lebneh to go. Very good quality food and affordable. The steak was cooked perfectly, well everything was cooked perfectly to be honest. Would definitely come back whenever in the area.”

I was worried that like other places it would be too spicy (what is this sudden love of extremely spicy / hot biryani in other restaurants! that completely kills the delicate flavors that Indian cuisine is famous for!). “We went to try the rolled ice cream. Other items on the menu were not explained and the photos did not really help. If you're not familiar with these desserts which appear either Middle Eastern or South Asian, make sure you bring your food so you can google the dishes. Out server was unable to explain any of it to us in English. The ice cream was quite good, and watching him make it on the cold slab was entertaining. One cup of rolled used cream was about $9.”
