“I recently ordered the McVeggie and Onion Rings from A&W, and I have to say the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The food was fresh, hot, and perfectly prepared, but what truly stood out was the hospitality and customer service.
The staff greeted me with genuine smiles, took the time to make sure my order was right, and treated every customer with patience and respect. Even during a busy rush, they stayed calm, polite, and super helpful. You can really see they care about delivering a great experience, not just great food.
It’s rare to find a place where the service matches the quality of the meal, but this A&W absolutely nailed it. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“We went out for lunch, location is easy to find and plenty of parking. What I liked about the place is it's got lots of seating and right at the entrance you will see happy faces greeting you, taking you the table. In few minutes Turkish bread with yoghurt dip and tomato dip arrives. Since it's our first time we told them we did not know what to order, he brought visuals of the menu and helped us pick the platter.
The platter arrived with meet kebabs. Beef Shami kebab. Chicken charcoal roast, meet roast, burghul, and Turkish flat bread. The taste was filled with mild ingredients and the food had great aroma. The food melts in your mouth. Never eaten such flavours, it's not spicy. On the side to drink we ordered yogurt salt lassi. Anyone can eat. We packed lots of it as the quantity was generous. We ended our lunch with Turkish tea.”

“Had a fabulous lunch there while visiting family in Ottawa from Nova Scotia over the holidays. I was wearing a Green Bay Packers hoodie as I do, being a fan and shareholder. One of the two guys serving and running the bar gave me a thumbs up and said they were big Packers fan. The food and service was outstanding, and when the bill was presented to our friend as he requested, he was informed that they weren't going to charge for the coffees for the Packers fans, lol. Simply awesome - highly recommended whether you are a Green Bay Packers fan or not :)”

“The meat and cheese pies are to die for! Been going here since they opened up, and is our go to place whenever we need our lebanese meat pie fix. A trick is coming first thing early morning and they are super fresh. They are very friendly and always smiling when working. I've been to other meat pie stores and this is the best quantity and quality of pies in Ottawa region.

I have had a shawarma poutine in the shawarma side of the store and they are good as well!”

“We received a gift card from a family member for $100 USD as a Christmas Present and were excited about enjoying a meal at this restaurant. The gift card was purchased directly from Joey's, not a 3rd party. We went and everything initially about the restaurant was very enjoyable. The food was very good, the service was attentive and we enjoyed our experience until the cheque arrived. When we we presented the gift card (electronically) our server went to speak with a ⁶manager and then returned to inform us that the $100 USD would be honoured in Canadian dollars. $100 USD is worth $144.50 Canadian dollars according to google when checked today. We paid the bill and tipped the service team 22% and left after effectively having $44.50 taken from us and our family member in what felt like to us, theft by conversion. The manager in question did not come to follow up after our expressing our disappointment JOEY's is already a very expensive restaurant. Further, the gift card information indicates that Joey's has US based restaurants. I'm quite sure that Canadian dollar gift cards are not accepted at par in the US. This ruined for us, what was otherwise a positive experience, through what felt like to us, an act of corporate greed and impersonal profiteering. After this experience we will not be back and sadly, I cannot recommend JOEY's as a place for anyone else to dine at. Any company that sells a gift card directly and then fails to deliver full value is patently dishonest, in my opinion.”
