“I really love Sula Wok and the owners. It has amazing options for food especially the dumplings I love the beef dumplings. Prices are also really good. They have awesome quality and the location is amazing too. I wish the best for Sula Wok “
“Was craving some noodle soup in a cold day and found this spot. Got a house salad, side of kimchi and spicy jjangbong. The house salad sesame oil dressing was surprisingly good. The kimchi was solid. The jjangbong was respectable, not the best I've had but decent. I'd probably try something different next time around if I make my way back to ottawa again.“
“I’ve been coming here at least 1-2 times a week, and I can easily say they have the best, most fresh, and most reasonably-priced sushi in Ottawa! The owners are very nice and welcoming, they always greet every customer with a smile. ?I got the platters for a birthday party, which were a hit with the guests.I’ve never seen salmon and tuna this fresh in Ottawa. I usually go for the specialty rolls or tacos. I love the variety of the menu and how filled the tacos are.Highly recommend using their Google form to order since it’s quick, easy to use, and has all the menu items on there.“
“Recommended, super delicious, the sauerkraut and pork belly are so fragrant, and the beef tongue and lamb are also delicious. Four people were so full after eating three portions of meat, and I want to eat it again next week. The key is that the service today is also very considerate. This is my first time here. Tips for eating all the barbecue details“
“Ok let's be real: this place is out of the way. This is not walking distance to anywhere. Now that's out of the way, let me start with: it's worth the drive. This is the best Thai restaurant in Ottawa and area that I've ever been. The pad thai is excellently authentic, the duck was a delish (the sauce and veggie stood out here), the soup is extremely rich and the spring roll is full and crunchy. Heck, even the dipping sauce is nothing I've ever tasted before.“
“My wife and I finally found time to get out and give Datsun a try. We are so happy we did, a very busy and bumping atmosphere! It was packed so we ate at the bar which was a fun experience. Got to watch the food being made too which we both found entertaining! Our server was very friendly and kind, he went through the whole menu with us which we both found very kind! The sake sour was delicious, your ex’s sweater is also very good if you like a dry strong drink. The Kabocha squash dumplings are fantastic soft with a little chew and a sweeter light flavour! The crispy cauliflower wings are awesome! Awesome spice level and sweet sticky sauce. We also had the crispy chicken and tofu Bao, oddly enough the Tofu Bao was tastier and more flavourful. My wife and I both agreed. Overall a fantastic experience and a great night out!“
“Awesome food ….. large menu selection … as a vegan, I was extremely satisfied with the experience and menu selections our hostess gave me….. everyone at our table loved all the fresh food and selection…. Quiet place but perfectly located in the Byward Market area…. Highly recommend“
“Amazing experience for my first time. Heard about it from a barman elsewhere and wasn’t disappointed. Service was amazing, super helpful staff as well as the care they seem to put in their craft. Food seems to follow a seasonal/what is being cooked lately approach, so you might not get the same thing twice. Will definitely go again and add this one to my rotation.“
“I love Raon Kitchen's kimchi. it's not as salty as the store bought ones and tastes amazing. it's a staple item in my fridge. I've recently tried the gochujang paste and it's also wonderful. Hana's service is outstanding. We're fortunate to have Raon in Ottawa.“
“Did take-out but the restaurant look clean and had a nice ambience. Service was quick and pleasant. Food was delicious, Green Curried Chicken, Pad Thai, Shrimp dish, and Cashew dish.Parking: A few parking spots in front but not sure if there was more in back.“
“I may not be a rice connoisseur but it was open and they had rice. These guys have such a wide variety of good dishes. If you can’t find something you like on their enormous menu you’re the problem. Got the Udon Noodle and it was pretty good but my friend’s Vermecelli Singapore noodle dish was the bomb. Would recommend.“
“Don’t underestimate this spot! The location is in the basement but the moment you can smell the food as you come down the stairs you’ll know why this place has such great reviews. The tofu peanut soup was amazing and definitely hit the spot, was even better with a side of rice! The general Tao vegan chicken was great and we have lots of leftovers. It was such a shock that there was so many vegetarian/vegan options that I took forever choosing, everything sounded so good! We decided to dine in and the cashier was doing a million things but she still took the time to serve us and get us water :) Atmosphere is a little hole in the wall—but not in a bad way—if you can order ahead it can help with wait time as we came when all the delivery orders were coming in. Loved this place and will be back again!!“
“Large variety of meats. Should add more seafood and veggie choices to the menu. The servers are well trained and definitely know what they are doing. Those dining tables are a bit small. We had a group of 9 so we were allowed to reserve a table. For small group you need to put yourself to a wait list through an app, and this is the only thing I don’t like.“
